Keeping It Simple With Joy Clair Stamps

Welcome back to my blog today and thank you for the visit.  I'm always so very grateful to have my talented peeps stop by to check out what I've been making.  I know I'm certainly not the most talented crafter/artist out there, but I sure do have fun creating.   And it's always reassuring when others tell us that they like or enjoy our art.  Well, at least I know that I do.  And I try to get around to others' blogs to do the same.  I learn so many cool techniques when I visit other people's blogs.  The same is true of my talented teammates at Joy Clair Stamps.  I've learned SO many cool techniques and ideas from them.  If you want to see some AMAZING inspirational ideas on a regular basis, then I strongly encourage you to stop by the Joy Clair Blog often.  There you will find SO many awesome ideas for stamping, backgrounds, and SO much more.
Today I'm sharing a cool card that I made using the new Teacher Stamp Set.  I wanted to make a very simple card to show y'all just how easy it is to create fun, cute cards using Joy Clair Stamps.  I stamped the apple from the Teacher Stamp Set several times in red ink onto a piece of cream cardstock.  I painted the leaves of those apples green with my Copics.
I used an old toothbrush to literally "splatter" paint in a random pattern over the stamped apples.  I stamped one more apple that I colored red and placed on a piece of blue gingham patterned paper.  The sentiment (You Make Learning Fun) is also from the Teacher Stamp Set, and was stamped onto a small journalling sticker.  The finishing touch was the baker's twine that I wrapped around the card where the two papers meet.  Joy Clair has the perfect stamps for every crafter....from beginners to advanced stampers, these stamps are AWESOME!

Blessings,
Karen
