Paper Sweeties/Pink & Main Blog Hop

Welcome by today, everyone!  Today is a special day for you to have stopped by; and I hope that you came here by way of  Diane's Blog, but if not, you'll find the complete list of links at the end of this post so that you can participate in this SUPER fun event.  Paper Sweeties is celebrating its 7th Birthday this month, and our friends at Pink & Main are joining in the festivities.  There's a $100 giveaway this month at Paper Sweeties, special sales and promotions, talented Guest Designers, this blog hop, and lots more excitement on the Paper Sweeties Blog.  You can save 25% off your regular full-priced order today by using the code: pink24.  But don't forget that ALL the special sales and promotions are listed on the Paper Sweeties Blog.

For today's special event, we combined some of favorite Paper Sweeties products with some fun Pink & Main products.  My first card started with a navy cardstock base.  Next, I cut a lovely white floral design using the gorgeous Eyelet Cover Plate Die from Pink & Main.  Then, I used the Eyelet Cover Plate Die a few more times to cut the flowers from various pieces of patterned papers found in the 6x6 It's a Party Paper Pad from Pink & Main.  Next, I added a white sentiment strip.  The sentiment (Thinking Of You) can be found in the Basket Add-On:Thinking Of You Stamp Set from Paper Sweeties. I accented the sentiment strip with a flower found in a sweet set from Paper Sweeties called All Occasions Icons.  The centers of the flowers include some layered Cookie Dough Sequins, Green Apple Sequins, Strawberry Sequins, Blueberry Sequins, Orange Creamsicle Sequins, and Pink Grapefruit Sequins.
My second card again combines Paper Sweeties with Pink & Main products. I used some fun Crate Paper patterned papers from their Farmhouse line.  I also used one of the cream patterned papers to cut the For You Sweet Cuts Tag onto which I stamped the sentiment (Congrats On Your New Home) which is from the Congrats Stamp Set from Pink & Main.  This set has several different sentiments to follow the word "Congrats", but I chose to use the "On Your New Home" stamps on this one to tie in with some sweet stamps from Paper Sweeties.
I then used the house, cloud, sun, and hearts of smoke (coming out of the chimney) from the Somewhere Over The Rainbow Stamp Set; as well as the banner, flower pot and flowers from the Treat Box Add Ons: Home & Garden Stamp Set - all from Paper Sweeties.  I had to "do some home remodeling" and cut the porch/steps off of my house to make it fit on the tag.  That's what I get for not planning ahead properly as I laid out my card.  Well, it's still cute because these stamps/products are all so sweet.  You'll love everything at both Paper Sweeties and Pink & Main.
AND......what's a Birthday celebration, after all, without some CAKE??  I couldn't resist making one more little card to share with you today as we celebrate Paper Sweeties 7th Birthday.  The new Cupcakes & Sprinkles Stamp Set and Cupcakes & Sprinkles Sweet Cuts are SO super amazing.   I used them to stamp and cut the cupcakes, cupcake tops, banners, flowers, sentiments (Sending You/On Your Birthday), and the heart to create this sweet card.  I also used Stitched Tags #1 Sweet Cuts for the small tag, and Merry Stamp Set for the word LOVE, and some layered Robin Egg Sequins.  I used some vintage scotch tape and LOTS of yummy glitters to "frost" my cupcakes.
Thanks for joining us as we celebrate our 7th Birthday at Paper Sweeties.  There's LOTS of excitement and fabulous details on the Paper Sweeties Blog, so be sure to stop by often so that you won't miss out on any of the inspiration from our talented Guest Designers, all the special sales or promotional offers each day during this exciting month of celebration.  You can read all about the PRIZES being offered, and SO much more by clicking this link to the Paper Sweeties Blog.  Special thanks to Michelle, owner of Pink & Main, for celebrating with us.  Have a fun hop, everyone, and we hope to see you all again soon.

Blessings,
Karen

Paper Sweeties New Release Rewind

Welcome back by today, everyone!  I hope you've been enjoying all the excitement at Paper Sweeties this month as we CELEBRATE our 5th Birthday.  If you've missed anything, be sure to stop by the Paper Sweeties Blog to learn more about the daily Guest Designers, the $100 Give-Away, 50% off all dolls, doll cuts, and doll outfit stamp sets, and SO much more excitement.   We've all had SO much fun sharing these super sweet projects with y'all.  The two New Release Stamp Sets this month from Paper Sweeties are DELICIOUSLY irresistible.  I can't get enough of them.....YUM!!  Here's my final project to wrap up this month's New Release.
How sweet is this?  I just can't!  I'm DYING because it's just too cute!!  I made several different cupcakes (trust me) with this DARLING new Cupcakes & Sprinkles Stamp Set, and each one turned out SO super delicious....just as cute and sweet as the next.  It's just such a cute stamp set that you can't help but make darling projects with it.  Yes, I'm smitten once again.  The cupcake, banner strips (with flower) are all found in the Cupcakes & Sprinkles Stamp Set, and the fun sentiments I used (Best Teacher Ever) are from the new Best Day Ever Stamp Set.  I also tied in some Oatmeal Seam Binding and a few Cookie Dough Sequins.
This next photo is another version of this little treat bag that I made recently.  Since it also uses the new Cupcakes & Sprinkles Stamp Set, the Cupcakes & Sprinkles Sweet Cuts, and the new Best Day Ever Stamp Set.....I figured I share this one with you also. The extra cupcake banner I stamped and covered in vanilla glitter (the one you see moved around in various photos) was cut out using the Cupcakes & Sprinkles Sweet Cuts, and was hot glued to the front of a miniature clothespin. What a cute little accent!  It's like I said...you really can't keep your hands off this sweet set.  Everything just turns out, oh, SO sweet!!
Here's the list of all my talented teammates who have prepared some more SWEET inspiration for you.  Just click on their links, and you'll be taken directly to their Paper Sweeties' blog posts for today (I know you won't regret it).  There's so much excitement all month long at Paper Sweeties, so be sure to stop by often for inspiration, prizes, special sales/promotions and more.  Thanks again for visiting!

Cupcake Inspirations Challenge Blog - Challenge #476 - Add Glitter.  Since I made several cupcake cards this week, of course I needed to "frost" them.  What better to "frost" my cupcakes than with glitter, right?  There's (vanilla) cream chunky glitter on my cupcake bands.  I love how the glitter makes the cupcakes look SO tempting.  Almost good enough to eat, huh?  Well, not quite...but they're fun to look at anyway.  Glitter makes everything sparkly and delicious.

Paper Sweeties August New Release Day

Hello!  I'm so glad you're here again today for the New Release at Paper Sweeties.  As of today, the two darling new sets - Cupcakes & Sprinkles Stamp Set, the coordinating Cupcakes & Sprinkles Sweet Cuts (steel dies), AND the  new Best Day Ever Stamp Set are available for sale in the Paper Sweeties Shop.  And....because we're celebrating our 5th Birthday, there are daily Guest Designers, a $100 Give-Away, and so much excitement happening  - so be sure to stop by the Paper Sweeties Blog often this month. You won't want to miss a thing.
I am absolutely in love with the delicious new Cupcakes & Sprinkles Stamp Set and Cupcakes & Sprinkles Sweet Cuts as well as the awesome new Best Day Ever Stamp Set with all of its amazing sentiments.  I love the cupcakes, cupcake wrappers, sprinkles, different banners, and sweet flowers.  I combined the two new sets together to create this sweet card for my Mom's birthday.  The card also includes a small tag (down at the bottom in pink) that was cut using the Stitched Tags #1 Sweet Cuts, and is tied with some Bubblegum Seam Binding and Watermelon Seam Binding and topped with a Pink Grapefruit Sequin.
You really can't resist all this sweetness.  I know you will LOVE these sweet stamp sets as much as I do.  As I've mentioned before, I absolutely cannot keep my hands off these delicious Cupcakes & Sprinkles.  So...I made yet another card.  This one uses a vintage soda shop receipt pad as the journalling spot.  I stamped the cupcakes, banners, and flowers using the Cupcakes & Sprinkles Stamp Set and cut them with the coordinating Cupcakes & Sprinkles Sweet Cuts.  I used a toothpick to put a bit of craft glue onto the stamped and cut cupcake banners, and carefully added tiny pink prills to the banners to give my card some awesome dimension.  I stamped several of the peppermint sticks found in the Homemade With Love Stamp Set and cut them with the Homemade With Love Sweet Cuts.  I also added some Marshmallow Sequins, Robin Egg Sequins, and Bubblegum Sequins.
I hope that by seeing my cards you're able to really see how much I really do ADORE these sweet new stamp sets.   I used the brand new Best Day Ever Stamp Set for the sentiment on my second card (Best Birthday Ever).  There are 20+ sentiments/words in this fabulous set, and this will help you to personalize the cards for any occasion and any person in your life.  It's just one of those perfect little sentiment sets.  I'm having SO much fun creating with these fabulous new stamp sets, and I hope you'll pick up yours today (I'm predicting this set will sell out because it's just so sweet) in the Paper Sweeties Shop

Sadly my photos of this second card didn't turn out the greatest because we had some really overcast weather.  I apologize that it's not as cute in the photos as it is in real life.  OK...here's that list I promised you, and I know that each of my talented teammates will have something extra special to share with you again today.  Oh...and don't forget about all the fabulous excitement going on this month at Paper Sweeties.  You'll definitely want to stop by often.  See y'all tomorrow.

Paper Sweeties August Sneak Peek

Hello friends and welcome by today as my friends at Paper Sweeties and I share some peeks at the DARLING New Release that will be available as of tomorrow in the Paper Sweeties Shop.  The new Cupcakes & Sprinkles Stamp Set is such a delicious set.  I can't get enough of it, and I'm sure you can see why.  These cupcakes turn out SO cute that they almost look good enough to eat.  I think I consumed a few calories just making my sweet card.
Using the new Cupcakes & Sprinkles Stamp Set, I stamped the adorable cupcake several times.  I also stamped the cupcake wrapper onto patterned paper and used the coordinating Cupcakes & Sprinkles Sweet Cuts to cut out the cupcakes, wrapper, toppers, etc.  I "frosted" all the cupcakes and wrappers with some chunky pink glitter, and added some Robin Egg Sequins, Bubblegum Sequins and Marshmallow Sequins to these sweet cupcakes.  Aren't they absolutely delicious?   YUM!!  This fun set is way too sweet to resist.
I used the Scalloped Square Frame Sweet Cuts to make the scalloped square frame.  I outlined that in the same chunky glitter that I used on the cupcakes.  The sentiments (batches of love AND sending you sugar, spice and everything nice on your birthday) are also all found in the new Cupcakes & Sprinkles Stamp Set.  The little banner was placed on a Mint Paper Straw and was stamped onto a tag found in the Stitched Tags #1 Sweet Cuts.  The Mint Paper Straw is topped with Bubblegum Seam Binding and Raspberry Seam Binding.  How SUPER sweet is this new set?
There's also a darling new sentiment set being released tomorrow that's called Best Day Ever which includes 20+ sentiments/words that can be used to help you personalize your cards for everyone in your life, and I'll be showcasing it tomorrow.  Thanks again for stopping by.  Here's the list of all my talented teammates who have created something sweet to inspire you using this darling new Cupcakes & Sprinkles Stamp Set.  Please stop back by again tomorrow for more inspiration on Release Day.  There's always lots of great inspiration, darling new products, and lots of fun at Paper Sweeties.  And...because we're celebrating our 7th Birthday at Paper Sweeties this month, there's lots of extra excitement on the Paper Sweeties Blog so be sure to stop by often.

Paper Sweeties & Coffee Lovers

Welcome by!  One thing that Paper Sweeties has in common with the vast majority of the crafting community is our deep LOVE of all things coffee, tea, and crafty sweetness.  With that in mind, we're teaming up with some of our friends over at the Coffee Loving Cardmakers Blog to celebrate with a special Blog Hop.  There will be prizes and LOTS of fabulous inspiration; so be sure to hop along for your chance to win and to be inspired.
Paper Sweeties carries so many cute coffee-themed stamps and dies (sweet cuts as we like to call them) to help you make ADORABLE cards and projects for all the fun coffee hops and challenges, and...of course, to give to all your coffee-loving friends.  For my first card, I used the Keep Calm and Drink Coffee Stamp Set for the coffee mug, steam and sentiment.  I used the Keep Calm and Drink Coffee Sweet Cuts for the cup and the steam.  I also used some sweet Cotton Candy Seam Binding and a few Marshmallow Sequins and a Blueberry Sequin. I used Crate Paper navy and pink patterned papers and a navy journalling sticker, and used the ColorBox Coal Ink Pad.
My second project is a sweet Christmas card that I made using some non-traditional colors from a GORGEOUS line of papers by Prima called Santa Baby.  The small touches of red make it work somehow, right?  I used a darling Christmas stamp set from Paper Sweeties called Homemade With Love, and this is such a DELICIOUS set.  Using it, I stamped the cupcake onto a white cardstock base and cut it out with the coordinating Homemade With Love Sweet Cuts, and then stamped parts of it again onto the Christmas patterned papers.

I outlined the cupcake with chunky pink glitter, and I stamped the cute peppermint sticks and die-cut them as well using this same sweet set from Paper Sweeties.  The coffee cup was cut from dictionary paper using the Keep Calm & Drink Coffee Sweet Cuts, and the steam is from the Keep Calm & Drink Coffee Stamp Set.  I also tied in some Bubblegum Seam Binding and Watermelon Seam Binding into this extra sweet card, and tucked in the small tag from the Stitched Tags #1 Sweet Cuts.  And yes....I realize I used A LOT of Paper Sweeties' products on this card, but what can I say?  Paper Sweeties just has SO many adorable products that you end up always wanting to use them all.
Here's the complete list of all those participating in this special blog hop.  We hope that you'll stop by each blog to check out all the amazing inspiration and to comment on each so that you'll be eligible for the fabulous prize.  There's A LOT going on this month at Paper Sweeties (in addition to this fun Blog Hop) including daily inspiration by some truly amazing Guest Designers on the Paper Sweeties Blog, a $100 give-away, 50% off our dolls, doll cuts and doll outfit stamp sets, and our upcoming New Release 3-Day event (August 14-16).  So, don't forget to stop by often.

Blessings to you,
Karen

A Taste of Christmas In July

Yes, I realize it's the  middle of July; but I really wanted to make a Christmas card (or two).  When I saw that there was a whole lot of fun going on over at Lori Hairston's Blog; as well as Mod Squad and others, I decided to sit down and create this little card to help us all get a bit "hungrier" for Christmas, so to speak.  It's definitely getting me excited.
Since it is July, I thought it would be fun (and even appropriate) to make a non-traditional Christmas card by using non-traditional colors of mint and pink from this GORGEOUS line by Prima called Santa Baby.  The small touches of red make it work somehow, right?  I used a darling Christmas stamp set from Paper Sweeties called Homemade With Love, and this is such a DELICIOUS set.  I stamped the cupcake onto a white cardstock base and cut it out with the coordinating Homemade With Love Sweet Cuts, and then stamped parts of it again onto Christmas patterned papers.   I outlined the cupcake with chunky pink glitter, and I stamped the cute peppermint sticks and die-cut them as well using this one set from Paper Sweeties.
The tag on which I placed my cupcake is found in the Stitched Tags #1 Sweet Cuts, and I used Bubblegum and Watermelon Seam Binding.  These are the fun challenges where I'm sharing my sweet Christmas card.  I hope it gives you a little taste of Christmas and starts to build up your appetite for all the excitement coming our way in December.  Perhaps you'd like to come and play along in these fun challenges as well.  Christmas is coming!

Paper Sweeties July Release Rewind

Welcome back by my blog as my Paper Sweeties teammates and I wrap up the July New Release.  Today I'm sharing a card and tag set I created using the new Ahoy Matey Stamp Set along with the new Beach Therapy Stamp Set, and a few of my other favorites from Paper Sweeties.
I used two different patterned papers that I inked.  Then, using several different colors of wool felt, I cut the borders using the scalloped border cut found in the Sweet Borders Sweet Cuts.  Once I had all the layers of wool felt in place (to create "waves"), I ran a width of Oatmeal Seam Binding across my card; and then I tied a bow using that and a length of Grape Seam Binding.  The adorable octopus (stamped twice) is also found in the darling new Beach Therapy Stamp Set, and the adorable little fish (stamped several times) is from the new Ahoy Matey Stamp Set.
You'll also notice that I created a matching tag using the For You Tag Sweet Cuts, some more of the wool felt scalloped Sweet Borders Sweet Cuts, some baker's twine, and the darling sentiment (Sunkissed Noses) from the sweet new Beach Therapy Stamp Set. I stamped (and traced) the mermaid fin using the Mermaid Wishes Stamp Set from last month's release.  I just LOVE how all of Paper Sweeties' fabulous products work so well on their own, or when used together with other Paper Sweeties products.
Here's that list for you, and I really do hope that you'll take the time to visit each of these talented ladies to see what they've created using these DARLING new sets from Paper Sweeties.  You will be delighted by what you see.

Blessings,
Karen

Paper Sweeties July New Release

Woo Hoo!!  Today is the day that you're finally able to purchase the two FUN new sets from Paper Sweeties.  My talented teammates and I have been preparing lots of fabulous inspiration using these two awesome new sets; and I hope you've taken time to see all the creativity that's been shared.  Today I'm sharing a card that I created using the new Beach Therapy Stamp Set along with the new Ahoy Matey Stamp Set.
I used some cardstock and patterned papers, and even a piece of an old map (it's actually part of an old art project of our son's from grade school) that I incorporated as my base.  Then, I stamped the ship from the new Beach Therapy Stamp Set, and colored it with my Copics.  I also stamped and colored the fish, message in a bottle and sentiment from this darling new set.
I added a copper handle that I'd found in my stash....I guess I just thought it was fun looking and went well with the pirate theme.  The cute messages in the bottles are from the Ahoy Matey Stamp Set.  All the images in both of these new sets are ADORABLE!
Here's the list of all my talented teammates who have prepared something SUPER fun to share with you today, and I just know that their creativity will inspire and excite you.  These new sets from Paper Sweeties are just SO cute, and I'm even excited to see what my teammates have created.  Have fun hopping along with us.
Blessings,
Karen

Paper Sweeties July Sneak Peek

Hello, everyone!  Thanks for visiting today as I share a sneak peek at the July New Release from Paper Sweeties.  Each of my teammates has prepared something special to inspire and excite you featuring something from the AWESOME new sets this month.  Just take a peek at how cute Jake looks in his pirate costume from the new Ahoy Matey Stamp Set.  The pirate outfit, hat, sword, hook leg, fish, sentiment, and the treasure chest are all from the Ahoy Matey Stamp Set.  I used some patterned papers, a red-lined library card, my Copics, and the Coal Stamp Pad to stamp all the images you see on my card.
The seaweed image that I stamped (several times) to create the border on the left-hand side of my card can be found in the new Beach Therapy Stamp Set.  I cut out each one with the coordinating Beach Therapy Sweet Cuts (dies).  You'll see that I have the cute little fish from the Ahoy Matey set swimming in and through all that seaweed, and a few Cookie Dough Sequins and Robin Egg Sequins tucked in the weeds as well.
This is just a quick little peek at these two fun new sets; but there will SO much more inspiration shared today and the next two days on the Paper Sweeties Blog and all the blogs linked below.  Now......can we talk about our boy, Jake?  Doesn't Jake look adorable dressed up as a pirate?

Because these new sets are SO cute, and I just can't seem to keep my hands off of them, I also decorated a cute little library card to match my card.  I plan to tuck this cute little extra inside the card, and plant a gift card inside.  This is a perfect birthday set for one of my sweet nephews.  I stamped the crab,
I sure hope you'll be back again tomorrow and Tuesday for even more fabulous inspiration showcasing these awesome new sets.  My project for tomorrow will showcase the Beach Therapy set a bit more since today's card was created with primarily the new Ahoy Matey Stamp Set.  They're both SO much fun.
Here are the links to my teammates' blogs, and there's always lots of excitement on the Paper Sweeties Blog as well.  Have an awesome and creative week, and thanks again for stopping by!
