Welcome by my blog today, friends! I'm celebrating Mardi Gras with my friends at Joy Clair Stamps featuring a darling new stamp set called Be Unashamed. This fun new set contains two different Mardi Gras masks, several decorative stamps, and sentiments as well. You will see SO much wonderful inspiration from the talented Joy Clair Design Team by following the links. Let's get started.
For this special event, I decided to celebrate Mardi Gras by making a smaller version of a traditional Mardi Gras mask. I painted a cardboard scrap with a light silver acrylic paint and let it dry. Next, I stamped the masks and banners from the Unashamed Stamp Set in deep blue ink, cut them out, and added lots of beautiful chunky glitter. I put one of the masks onto a silver paper straw using hot glue and attached the decorative banners to the mask. I added some sequins and sprinkles to give it some extra pizzazz. It's a fun little Mardi Gras decoration.
The other mask was decorated much the same; but I created a gift tag that I inked and stamped with the sentiment God Will Reveal which is also found in the Unashamed Stamp Set. I just love all the possibilities that exist with this stamp set. You'll see what I mean when you visit each team members' blog.

Hello to all my creative friends....specifically today to all my stamping friends. I'm posting today for Joy Clair Stamps to showcase a few more of the 12 AMAZING new stamp sets recently released. I've been having SO much fun creating cards, bookmarks and matching envelopes with all my Joy Clair Stamps, and I know you will love them too!
The card I'm sharing today was created using the sweet new Blossom Stamp Set. I used ivory and forest green cardstocks for my card base, and a Stitched Rectangle Die. I stamped all the cactus using the Bloom Stamp Set and colored each one with my Copics. The sentiment I used on this card (Rise & Shine) is from the new Rise And Shine Stamp Set. All of Joy Clair's amazing stamp sets work well when used together or independently. To prove this point yet again, I made a tiny bookmark to match my card.
I used the sunshine found in the new God's Promises Stamp Set and the sentiment (Hello) from the Easter Greetings Stamp Set. And then, to tie everything together...I again used a cacti from the Blossom Stamp Set. Aren't those cactus bushes the cutest? When I first saw this set, it didn't cry out to me (like some of the others), but once I saw someone else use it, I was suddenly like....in LOVE. Now I can't get enough of it. And the sentiments in these sets......LOVELY and SO functional for my every-day cards. You'll see in the photos below that I added a small glassine bag to the inside of my card so that I could tuck in this cute little bookmark.
Thanks again for stopping by, friends. There's always lots of great inspiration on the Joy Clair Blog, as well as our February Challenge where you can play along for the chance to win some Joy Clair products. We know you won't want to miss a thing, so please stop by often....we always enjoy your visits.
Hey there, everyone! Welcome by today as I share an extra sweet card I created for Really Reasonable Ribbon. I used an older Crate Paper line called Peppermint for the patterned papers, chipboard and stickers. When I saw that chipboard sentiment, I knew right away that I wanted to add a real peppermint stick or candy to my card. I attached my patterned papers together to create my card base by using pieces of a fabulous Adhesive called Scor-Tape, and I machine stitched along the edges of the top half.

Hey there, my crafty friends! Welcome by once again as I share another sweet card I created using another one of the 12 fabulous new stamp sets being released this month (and available as of today) at Joy Clair Stamps. While all the sets are wonderful, some are more "my style" than others. The stamp set I'm featuring today was my absolute favorite of them all. It's called Spring Stroll, and it is filled with the sweet Spring images and sentiments.
I stamped the gorgeous floral swag from the Spring Stroll Stamp Set twice to create a border of flowers around my image. Next, I stamped the bicycle beneath the flowers and I colored everything with my Copics. I used gellatos to create the background, and I cut out the window with a die-cut.
I stamped the sentiment (Get Well Soon) at the bottom of my stamped focal area. The final touches include some baby pink seam binding, bundled ivory natural string, several open roses and double-head stamens to complete my card. The gorgeous Joy Clair stamps are the real star here!
The sentiments in this Spring Stroll set are just SO sweet, so I couldn't resist making two additional cards using some of them. These last two cards were created using some old Crate Paper (Restorations) products. The first one (shown above) has some inked corrugated hearts, machine stitching, and that sweet sentiment (Blessings) from the new Joy Clair Spring Stroll Stamp Set. The second card(seen below) uses the sweet little umbrella and the Thinking Of You sentiment. You will love all the darling sentiments and images in this fabulous new Spring Stroll Stamp Set.
Thanks so much for visiting. And don't forget to visit the Joy Clair Blog every day to be inspired, to see what's new, to play along in our challenges, and to do some shopping. You'll always enjoy your stamps from Joy Clair.

Hello again today, friends! Thanks for joining me as I share yet another fun card I made using some of my favorite products from Paper Sweeties. I hope you've been inspired the past few days by all the darling projects shared by my talented teammates. If you missed anything, you can catch all the details on the Paper Sweeties Blog. My teammates and I have been sharing some super sweet Winter projects this month combining a few of the newest Paper Sweeties products as well as a few of all our favorites. I've been having SO much fun creating with these sweet stamp set, sweet cuts and products because Paper Sweeties carries the most adorable stuff ever!
This card uses some more of that soft pink and soft mint green patterned paper from Prima. This print also has some rose gold accents in the hearts. It's so soft and sweet, and I can always find the perfect Seam Binding at Paper Sweeties to match just about any line I'm working with. For this card, I used some yummy Bubblegum Seam Binding along with some double-head stamens and open roses.
I stamped the awesome pick-up truck found in the Merry Christmas Y'all Stamp Set, and I colored it pink with my Copics. I knew that I wanted to fill up the back of the truck with something.....but what? So, I figured I'd fill it with lots of snow and some gifts, candy, etc. to deliver to friends. The sentiment I chose (JOY) is from the Merry Stamp Set. I stamped it in Coal, Fog and Ballerina Pink. The gifts/packages were stamped using an image found in the Wishing You Stamp Set, and the candy sticks can be found in the delightful Homemade With Love Stamp Set. Have I mentioned how much I LOVE Paper Sweeties? Oh my friends, these are the sweetest products and SO much fun to create with.
Here's the list of all my Paper Sweeties Teammates who have created a sweet Winter project to inspire you. By clicking on the names below, you will be taken directly to that blog to see that person's creativity. Thanks again for visiting me, too. I really appreciate it.
Blessings,
Welcome by again today, sweet blog friends! Much like I did yesterday, I'm sharing another card today for Paper Sweeties using some more of my favorite "Winter" stamp sets and products. In fact, all my teammates at Paper Sweeties have created some Winter inspiration for you; and you can see it all on the Paper Sweeties Blog or by clicking on the highlighted links (names) at the bottom of this post. And of course, all the fabulous products you see featured can be purchased now at Paper Sweeties.
For today's project, I used the new Merry Christmas Y'all Sweet Cuts to cut these gorgeous wool felt trees. I used the same Sweet Cuts to cut the trunks of the tree from a wood-grain patterned paper. I also added some Stickles and ultra-fine glitter to the trees to give them a light dusting of "snow". As you can see, these trees are GORGEOUS. I have already used this set countless number of times, and it was just released in December. This set is definitely an all-time favorite for me. Have you seen the adorable pick-up truck? Oh my yes, this Merry Christmas Y'all set is a must-have.
The patterned papers I used are from Prima, and I inked everything pretty well. Did you know that Paper Sweeties carries several fabulous colors of Stamping Inks? They are just $3 each and just the perfect size to easily ink your stamps in the perfect color. There are SO many fabulous products in the Paper Sweeties Shop. For instance, the sentiment I used on this card (SNOW) is from the AWESOME new Merry Stamp Set. With eleven fabulous words, this will be another set that I will use for many years to come. I also used the Sweet Borders Sweet Cuts to add the wood-grain swirl border at the bottom of my card.
I added several layered Sugar Sprinkles Sequins to my sentiment spot. The other items I used on my card (items not carried at Paper Sweeties) include the various patterned papers/journalling card, cardstock, some stickers, and the double-head stamens in pinks and creams.
Much like I did yesterday, I'm sharing a quick little matching envelope that I created for this card. It's so easy to grab your Paper Sweeties stamps and give your envelope a little love to make it as special as the card tucked inside. I used the awesome new Merry Christmas Y'all Stamp Set to stamp the trees on my envelope. I used Ballerina Pink and Mud Pie Ink to stamp the trees on the envelope.
Here are the names of my talented teammates I mentioned earlier. If you click on their names, you will be taken directly to each of their sweet blogs so that you can peek at their Paper Sweeties inspirations for the month. Perhaps something you see will inspire your creativity. I do hope you'll take time to visit these talented gals, and that you'll treat yourself to some Paper Sweeties products.
Blessings to you,
Welcome back today, everyone! I hope you enjoyed my card yesterday featuring the new Rise & Shine stamp set from Joy Clair. If you missed it, you can find that card here in my Rise & Shine post. Today I'm sharing a card that was created using the brand new Unashamed Stamp Set. This set has two masks, some jewels, banners, feathers and sentiments. It's SO much fun.
I used some fun patterned papers that I attached to my cardstock and decorated with some pretty seam binding bows, mulberry flowers and embellishments. I stamped the more feminine mask at the top left and colored it a bit. Then, I stamped the feathers in different colors just to the right of the mask. The sentiment I used (God Will Reveal) was stamped onto a little sentiment sticker.
Much like I did yesterday,
I also stamped a matching envelope for this card. Did you know that Joy Clair also carries lots of amazing Custom Stamps? I purchased two adorable return address label stamps (the Frye's and Valentine's) from Joy Clair long before I was on the Design Team, and I absolutely LOVE them. They make my envelopes look Oh, SO cute!
