Revisiting Emma's Shoppe

Welcome by.  Earlier today and yesterday, I've been working on a few Design Team projects for the coming month.  This being the case, I had out my Emma's Shoppe products and couldn't resist making an extra card or two with them.  This is my all-time favorite line from my all-time favorite company - Crate Paper.  Pretty much everything on this card is Emma's Shoppe.

I added the 3 to my card so that it can be used for a special little girl who is turning 3 in August.  This was inspired by the challenge over at Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge where I am playing along this week.  The 3 tab is a piece of the ephemera from the Emma's Shoppe line.  Cuteness is the theme of this sweet line.  The ruffly lace trim and ivory burlap string were the perfect finishing touches to this sweet card.
I'd love to hear your thoughts on my card.  Here's the link to the challenge where I'll be playing along:

Paper Sweeties July New Release

Woo Hoo!!  Today is the day that you're finally able to purchase the two FUN new sets from Paper Sweeties.  My talented teammates and I have been preparing lots of fabulous inspiration using these two awesome new sets; and I hope you've taken time to see all the creativity that's been shared.  Today I'm sharing a card that I created using the new Beach Therapy Stamp Set along with the new Ahoy Matey Stamp Set.
I used some cardstock and patterned papers, and even a piece of an old map (it's actually part of an old art project of our son's from grade school) that I incorporated as my base.  Then, I stamped the ship from the new Beach Therapy Stamp Set, and colored it with my Copics.  I also stamped and colored the fish, message in a bottle and sentiment from this darling new set.
I added a copper handle that I'd found in my stash....I guess I just thought it was fun looking and went well with the pirate theme.  The cute messages in the bottles are from the Ahoy Matey Stamp Set.  All the images in both of these new sets are ADORABLE!
Here's the list of all my talented teammates who have prepared something SUPER fun to share with you today, and I just know that their creativity will inspire and excite you.  These new sets from Paper Sweeties are just SO cute, and I'm even excited to see what my teammates have created.  Have fun hopping along with us.
Blessings,
Karen

Paper Sweeties July Sneak Peek

Hello, everyone!  Thanks for visiting today as I share a sneak peek at the July New Release from Paper Sweeties.  Each of my teammates has prepared something special to inspire and excite you featuring something from the AWESOME new sets this month.  Just take a peek at how cute Jake looks in his pirate costume from the new Ahoy Matey Stamp Set.  The pirate outfit, hat, sword, hook leg, fish, sentiment, and the treasure chest are all from the Ahoy Matey Stamp Set.  I used some patterned papers, a red-lined library card, my Copics, and the Coal Stamp Pad to stamp all the images you see on my card.
The seaweed image that I stamped (several times) to create the border on the left-hand side of my card can be found in the new Beach Therapy Stamp Set.  I cut out each one with the coordinating Beach Therapy Sweet Cuts (dies).  You'll see that I have the cute little fish from the Ahoy Matey set swimming in and through all that seaweed, and a few Cookie Dough Sequins and Robin Egg Sequins tucked in the weeds as well.
This is just a quick little peek at these two fun new sets; but there will SO much more inspiration shared today and the next two days on the Paper Sweeties Blog and all the blogs linked below.  Now......can we talk about our boy, Jake?  Doesn't Jake look adorable dressed up as a pirate?

Because these new sets are SO cute, and I just can't seem to keep my hands off of them, I also decorated a cute little library card to match my card.  I plan to tuck this cute little extra inside the card, and plant a gift card inside.  This is a perfect birthday set for one of my sweet nephews.  I stamped the crab,
I sure hope you'll be back again tomorrow and Tuesday for even more fabulous inspiration showcasing these awesome new sets.  My project for tomorrow will showcase the Beach Therapy set a bit more since today's card was created with primarily the new Ahoy Matey Stamp Set.  They're both SO much fun.
Here are the links to my teammates' blogs, and there's always lots of excitement on the Paper Sweeties Blog as well.  Have an awesome and creative week, and thanks again for stopping by!

Something Sweet With Really Reasonable Ribbon

Hello, sweet friends!  Welcome by my blog today, and thanks for visiting me as I share a fun project that I created for Really Reasonable Ribbon using several of their amazing products.  I used an old kraft Coffee Bag that I'd forgotten all about. So, I pulled it out and decided to fill it with some yummy bubble gum flavored Jelly Belly jelly beans as a cute gift.  No cuter way to decorate than with all the amazing products found at Really Reasonable Ribbon.
I ran a width of Ivory Natural Crochet Lace across the top of the bag, and stamped a miniature tag with the word LOVE.  I attached that tag with a dab of hot glue along with a length of Gold Metallic String, a White Mulberry Leave, and some Mixed Pink Miniature Sweetheart Blossoms.  There are so many beautiful Mulberry Flowers, Embellishments, Twines, Trims and.....well, you'll just have to see for yourself - there's SO much to see at Really Reasonable Ribbon.
Down at the middle left of the bag (right by the window showing those yummy jelly beans) I added some more "fluff" to my project by adding a gold puffy heart and pink leather tassel (both are Crate Paper products), and then layering some bundled Ivory Burlap StringGold Metallic String, and Cotton Candy Baker's Twine.  Then, I also tucked in some Milk White Miniature Stamens, and some Pink Miniature Double Head Stamens.  SO sweet!
Thanks again for stopping by, and please visit me again soon - I just LOVE having visitors.  By the way...in just TWO short days (Saturday, the 13th), our July Blog Hop will start.  Be sure to join us for that; as one lucky person will win this month's AWESOME Ribbon Club Assortment.  I'll look forward to seeing you there!

Until then,
Karen

Stamping With Joy Clair

I'm so glad you've stopped by my blog today because.....guess what?  Today I'm sharing two fun cards that I created for Joy Clair Stamps using some of the New Release along with some of  my older favorites.  I always have so much fun playing/creating with my Joy Clair Stamps.  They are such high-quality, clear acrylic stamps that give me crisp, clear lines every time.  Of course, I do like to use my Misti stamping tool now that I've found it (don't know how I ever lived/stamped without it), but I'm never disappointed with the quality of my Joy Clair Stamps.
For my first card, I used a piece of simple white cardstock, a stencil, oxide inks, and some acrylic paints to create my background.  Next, I stamped the image of the girl as well as the sentiments using the new Proverbs 31 Woman stamp set.  I just LOVE this set, and my teammates have made some of the coolest cards with it.  I do hope that you stop by the Joy Clair Blog often for inspiration.....I'm surrounded by SO much talent on this team.  I love seeing their creative ideas.  Anyway, I finished up this card with some washi tape, a couple of sequins, and a tiny little rusty paperclip.
My second card has a story to it.  You see, I have a friend who is incarcerated; and I love to write to her.  I've stamped small images on the edges of the letters I write, and it's always been ok.  Well, back in May I pushed my luck a bit too far.  In the upper left-hand portion of the first page of her letter, I stamped the antique truck from our AWESOME new Friends & Flowers stamp set.  As you can see, I colored it with my Copics.  BIG mistake!  The letter was returned to me because of the markers.  So....I cut out the truck (this is physically the one from her letter - and if you look closely, you can see that it was stamped onto lined notebook paper) and placed it on this card.  Couldn't bare to waste it after that long story...LOL.  I stamped and embossed the sentiment using the Reckless Love stamp set.
The word BLOOM that I stamped on the license plate of the car is also found (along with lots of other fun words and sentiments) in the Friends & Flowers stamp set.  All of Joy Clair's wonderful stamps work together and compliment one another.  I've been working on my embossing skills (they're rather lacking) so I took a close-up photo of my handiwork.  It's definitely improving, but still has a long way to go.  I'ii take all the tips I can get.
Well, I sure do thank you (again) for visiting my blog today.  Your visits always mean SO much to me, and I'm grateful beyond words for any comments that get left.  I read each one and cherish everyone's thoughts and time.  I also like to visit your blog to say hello, so please be sure to leave me a comment.
I do hope you'll take a moment to check out Joy Clair Stamps...whether it's their Custom Stamps, the stamps I've used today, or any of their oodles of awesome stamps.  You won't be disappointed with what you find at Joy Clair; and there's always LOTS of fabulous inspiration.  Hope to see you there soon!  Oh, and before I run off....here's a special sale taking place now, and I'm sharing a code for you to SAVE 30% on your order.
Have a great day!  Blessings to you,
Karen

You're A Catch

Welcome by today!  I'm glad you're here and I thank you for visiting me.  This is a sweet little tag I created this afternoon - just for fun.  I used the new Sea You Soon Stamp Set from Paper Sweeties to stamp the sentiment, oyster and seahorse.

I tied a bow with some sweet tulle, and topped that with a bow of Bubblegum Baker's Twine and a mermaid scale embellishment.  I colored the oyster and seahorse using Copics as well as some applied with Glitter Ink applied with Fantastix.  These images in this new set are all SO cute.  I had fun making this tag, and have fun playing with the Paper Sweeties New Release in general.  Thanks again for stopping by today.  Here are the challenges where I'm playing along:
