Autumn Wishes & Pumpkin Kisses

Hello, blog friends!  The weather in Las Vegas is finally cooling down, and it's actually beginning to feel like Autumn...finally.  The house is decorated with pumpkins, gourds, and the smell of Autumn fills our home.....because I'm always burning a Yankee tart.  Visitors always comment about how good my house smells, and I must say that I'm a bit addicted to burning wax tarts.  It's kinda my thing.
Today I'm sharing a quick, easy card that I made this morning.  I used some Echo Park products from their sweet Fall Blessings line that I picked up at Tuesday Morning not too long ago.  If you're lucky enough to live near a Tuesday Morning, they really are worth checking out because, for instance, this package included the entire line of 12x12 papers, the journalling cards, and the 12x12 sticker page...all for $5.99.  We all know how much this all would have cost at a scrapbook store or on-line; so they're really a great deal.  And they always carry LOTS of great lines in these packages.  Anyway, I used a green Bazzill cardstock base and attached my patterned papers.  Then I stamped my sentiment (Autumn Wishes & Pumpkin Kisses) using the Happy Fall Y'all Stamp Set from Paper Sweeties.
I ran some 3/8" Moss Green & Ivory Grosgrain Ribbon up my card and tied a bow that also incorporates the Moss Green/Ivory Grosgrain along with some Orange Burlap String and some Double Head Stamens.  Not really anything extravagant, but a simple and fun Autumn card.  I'll be sharing it in the challenges listed below.  I hope you're enjoying your Autumn, and that you're warm inside your craft room or doing something else fun.  Thanks so much for stopping by, everyone.

Blessings,
Karen

  1. Very cute fall card! I love your new paper. I really like Tuesday Morning too. It’s a little out of my way so I don’t go too often but it is a treat to go there. I love your bow, you are so talented at finding great places to put them on your cards. Have a great day!

  2. This is beautiful Karen - and there is no Tuesday Morning here in Michigan - what a buy on the Echo Park pack - I just purchased a Carta Bella Fall pack on line [Free Shipping] it was on sale for $9 - you really got a great deal - how blessed is that! Love card you created using the papers - have a blessed day!

  3. A wonderful autumnal card Karen. With autumn not so clearly defined here, and no 'celebrations' during it, we don't make cards as you do in the States :)
