Hurray! I found some time this afternoon to create a few more cards to share in the Build Your Stash Holiday Cardmakers' Christmas in July Linky Party. I couldn't be any more excited about it either. It's such a FUN challenge and a really special event. I hope you'll all come and play along. We all need a jump start on our Christmas cards, right? There's so much fabulous inspiration being shared here. This post will feature TWO cards that I'm sharing in the BYSHC Linky Party. This is a very simply card. I used kraft cardstock layered with patterned papers that I machine stitched together. I added various pieces of ephemera from my Christmas stash. The sweet Merry Christmas sentiment is found at Stamp Simply. It was cut with the Fishtail Banner Dies also from Stamp Simply. I tied the tag with some jute and attached some rusty jingle bells.I wish there were enough hours in the day, accompanied by the energy, to use up ALL my Christmas stash. It's impossible. I won't be running out any time soon, so I have years of crafting to look forward to. This special event is a great place to share our cards. My second card uses more non-traditional Christmas colors. This pretty set of papers are called Bundled Up by my favorite, Crate Paper. I added a sweet Christmas sentiment from Bonnie Garby Designs. The Ivory Burlap String that I added to my tags is from Really Reasonable Ribbon. I did some machine stitching along the edges. Again, this is a very simple card. Nothing fancy here.We all hope to see you and your wonderful cards and creations out there in FUN challenges such as the BYSHC Christmas in July Linky Party and others. It's always more fun, and much more inspiring, when everyone joins the fun. Thanks so much for your visit here today. It means the world to me.
I'm sharing both of the above cards (separately) in the following:
Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge - Simon Says "Stitch It" so I machine stitched the edges of both of these cards.
Blessings,
Karen
