Joy Clair Stamps & Rinea Foils

Hello friends, and thanks for stopping by today!  I'm sharing a card with you today that uses the AWESOME new I Hope Stamp Set from Joy Clair Stamps.  And because we are partnering this month with Rinea Foils, all our projects this month have included their products.  I hope you've been enjoying the New Release at Joy Clair Stamps.  We've all been having SO much fun using these amazing new stamp sets, and we know that you will LOVE them as much as we do.
The I Hope Stamp Stamp I'm featuring today on my first card is an awesome set to own.  We all know those who have fought (or are fighting) cancer, and those who need this type of encouragement.  This set will help you to create some really gorgeous cards.  I stamped the boxing gloves and sentiments onto white watercolor paper using the I Hope Stamp Set.  The word HUGS was stamped in red, hand-cut, and placed on 3-D tape to give it some dimension.  I placed a little gem at the top of the gloves, and I also added some cream, black, and red seam binding to my card.
At the bottom of my card, I used a Sunny Studios die to create the scalloped layers.  I created one border in red gingham patterned paper, one layer in the Red Foil, and one layer in the Black Foil.  These colors can be found in the beautiful Magical Foil Variety PackRinea Foils carries lots of fabulous colors and styles of foil.  And...Joy Clair Stamps always has the perfect stamp set.  What a great combination!
My second card today was created using another new set from Joy Clair Stamps called Shadow of The Almighty.  I used this lovely new set for the sentiment (Relax), the sun, chair and umbrella.  I colored all the images using the fabulous 60-Pack Double Ended Markers from our friends over at Leisure Arts.  This is a really fun little marker set to have on hand.  We're all SO grateful for all the wonderful partners of Joy Clair Stamps.
I used some cardstocks from Bazzill Basics for my base, and I used a piece of basic white cardstock to create the final platform for my card.  I sprayed this white paper with Tattered Angels Wheatfields Ink, and also gave it a few drops of Tim Holtz Mustard Oxide Ink to give the background some sparkle and color.  A few sequins were the finishing touch, and Joy Clair Stamps are the real star of this card.
You're always going to find amazing stamps at Joy Clair, and lots of great inspiration on the Joy Clair Blog.  I sure hope you'll visit again soon because I always SUPER appreciate your visits and comments.  Hope you're all having a creative and blessed week.

Paper Sweeties Release Rewind

Thank you so much for stopping by again today, everyone.  Today we begin the New Release Rewind at Paper Sweeties.  We sure hope that you've been enjoying this month's fabulous New Release.  However, if you missed any of the excitement from the last few days...you can stop by the Paper Sweeties Blog to find out what you missed.  The two New Release sets are now available for sale at Paper Sweeties.  Like everything at Paper Sweeties, these new sets are ADORABLE.  I'm having so much fun creating with them.  I can't decide which one I like more....the new Ewe Make Me Happy Stamp Set, or the new What's Up, Chickie Stamp Set.  That settles it......just buy both!
For today's inspiration, I created a cute card that combines both of the darling new sets together.  I used some cardstock and patterned papers for my base, and I ran a length of the delicious Black Licorice Seam Binding across my card.  I used the Licorice Seam Binding along with some Sugar Sprinkles Seam Binding to create my bow which is tied with some yellow baker's twine and topped with a cute button.  Paper Sweeties has SO many yummy colors of Seam Binding to adorn your cards.
The leaves, branch, and darling sheep are from the new Ewe Make Me Happy Stamp Set, the chick is from the new What's Up, Chickie Stamp Set.  The sentiment was created by combining a mixture of both sets as well as the word "on" from the Mermaid Wishes Stamp Set.  I love that you can combine Paper Sweeties sentiments from various sets to help you come up with the perfect words, phrases, etc. for every card.  All of Paper Sweeties' stamps, sweet cuts, and products work well together and compliment one another so nicely.  This helps you make the most of your money, and.....you get the most darling stamps around.  Can you tell that I'm smitten with Paper Sweeties?  They're the cutest!
I also made this little card also using the Ewe Make Me Happy Stamp Set and coordinating Ewe Make Me Happy Sweet Cuts.  I was just so smitten with the sheep that I kinda neglected the sweet little flowers and other little goodies that are also included in this sweet new set.
I sure hope that you're loving the September New Release from Paper Sweeties, and that you'll pick up your new goodies before they're gone.  You can always stop by the Paper Sweeties Blog for lots of fabulous inspiration and information about special sales and promotions.  Here are the links to the blogs of my talented teammates who have prepared something amazing for you today.  I do hope you will take time to stop by and take a quick peek at their sweet projects using these adorable new sets.

It's Paper Sweeties Release Day!

Welcome by for the September New Release at Paper Sweeties.  This is a great day to have stopped by....not only for lots of inspiration, but also because that today is the first day that the two DARLING new sets are available for sale at Paper Sweeties.  Several of the sets at Paper Sweeties do sell out quickly, so when you see something that you like...it's always a good time to grab it!  Well, today is just that sort of day because you're now able to pick up these super sweet new sets in addition to ALL the wonderful products at Paper Sweeties.  You can always find the sweetest colors of Seam Binding, flower-shaped Sequins, and all the perfect touches to adorn your projects.
My card for today's New Release uses the awesome new What's Up, Chickie Stamp Set.  I stamped Jake and cut him with the Jake Sweet Cut, and colored him with  my markers.  I did the same thing with Jake's outfit, hat, and the donkey.  I added some raffia (straw) to make a barn "bed" for the donkey, and also put some straw into Jake's hand.  I used several different patterned papers on  my background as well as several small journalling stickers.
The sentiment (Howdy Partner) is also found in the new What's Up, Chickie Stamp Set.  The other sentiment at the bottom of the card (#cowboy) is from the Howdy Y'all Stamp Set, but I thought it went well with this set.  So many of the sets at Paper Sweeties work well together and can be easily combined in your projects.  I added some thin blue striped washi tape and I inked all the paper edges.

Here's the list of all my talented teammates who have created something amazing for you today.  I hope you'll take a minute to take a look at their amazing creations.  I know I always enjoy seeing what they make with these sweet stamps.  You won't be disappointed!

Thanks again for stopping by.  Tomorrow will be out New Release Rewind, so be sure to stop by for even more fabulous inspiration as we wind down this month's amazing New Release at Paper Sweeties.

Hugs,
Karen

Paper Sweeties September Sneak Peek

Welcome by my blog today, everyone!  Today is the first day of the September Release at Paper Sweeties, and my teammates and I will be sharing some sneak peeks at this month's TWO fabulous, and absolutely adorable, new sets.  The first new set is called Ewe Make Me Happy Stamp Set and has coordinating Ewe Make Me Happy Sweet Cuts.  It has this darling little sheep, along with other images such as flowers and leaves and also contains several cute words/sentiments to help you create clever little sayings that work with this (and other) stamp sets.
I used this new Ewe Make Me Happy Stamp Set and coordinating Ewe Make Me Happy Sweet Cuts to create my first card today.  The words (Ewe Make Me Happy) are also found in this sweet new set, along with several other words and phrases.  The background was created with a stencil and some (messy) spray ink.  I did layer the faces on the sheep (there's a sheep cut and a face cut which is awesome) to give them some dimension.
The other new set is the What's Up, Chickie Stamp Set.  This new set contains a new rustic farm outfit for Jake as well as this cute little chick I used....and several other sweet images and sentiments.  The branch I used to "nest" my chicks can be found in the You Warm My Heart Stamp Set.  I also used the coordinating You Warm My Heart Sweet Cuts to die-cut them.  You'll see more of the new What's Up, Chickie Stamp Set in the card I'm sharing tomorrow on Release Day.  That's when both of these darling new sets will be available in the Paper Sweeties Shop.  But for today; I'm just hoping to inspire you enough to make you want to check back tomorrow to pick up one, or both, of these sweet new sets.  I'll tell you this.....Jake looks pretty darn cute in his new "digs".
These two cards today are giving you a peek at each of the new sets in the September Release at Paper Sweeties.  But....there's SO much more to see because there are so many other stamps in theses sets, and each of my talented teammates use these products SO differently.  It's amazing to see everyone's creativity and inspiration.  I know that you will LOVE these new sets as much as we all do.  Paper Sweeties always has the cutest stamps to help you make adorable cards and projects.  And, there's always plenty of inspiration.  Just look at all these talented artists who have created something to inspire you today:

Really Reasonable Ribbon Blog Hop

Welcome to this month's Really Reasonable Ribbon Blog Hop.  I hope that you arrived here by way of Cheryl's Blog; but if not, you can get caught up quickly.  This  month's Ribbon Club Assortment has an assortment of adorable ribbons and trims for the Halloween and Fall Seasons.  One lucky person who hops along, comments, and answers the question at the end of the hop on the Really Reasonable Ribbon Blog will win this month's awesome Ribbon Club Assortment.  Just look at these fun ribbons.
As I like to do each month for the Blog Hop, I'm sharing a FUN hair bow that incorporates all nine of the trims found in this month's Ribbon Club Assortment including a length of the  adorable 3/8" Halloween Critter on Grosgrain Ribbon, the 5/8" Grape Diamond Satin Ribbon, 3/8" Spider Webs on Black Grosgrain, 5/8" Tangerine Delicate Stitch Ribbon, 5/8" Black Satin Swiss Dot Ribbon, 5/8" Tangerine Satin With Grosgrain Edge Ribbon, 3/8" Black Stripe Grosgrain Ribbon, 5/8" Apple Green Delicate Stitch Satin Ribbon and the cute 3/8" Halloween Candy on Tangerine Grosgrain Ribbon; and the big bow (pictured below) is secured on the back with a French Clip.  There are lots of great Hair Accessories in the RRR Shop in addition to their awesome Ribbons, Embellishments, Mulberry Flowers, and SO much more.  The "Lollipop" in the center of the bow, as well as the piece beneath it, were created with scraps of material.
The second project I'd like to share with you today are these two ADORABLE little barrettes.  These smaller barrettes (pictured below) include a piece of the pretty 5/8" Tangerine Grosgrain Ribbon and 5/8" Apple Green Grosgrain Ribbon wrapped in the adorable 3/8" Halloween Candy on Tangerine Grosgrain Ribbon; and is secured on the back with Alligator Clips.  So cute!  And Really Reasonable Ribbon makes it all possible.
Your next stop on your journey through this hop is at Kathy's Blog.  She always has something extra fun to share with everyone.  Please leave a comment on each blog along the way (there honestly aren't that many to visit, I promise), and don't forget to answer the question on the Really Reasonable Ribbon Blog when you're finished so that you'll be entered to win this month's awesome Ribbon Club Assortment.

Angels Among Us

Welcome today, sweet blog friends!  It's time for a FUN new Anything Goes challenge and I really hope that you will link up with us.  Word Art Wednesday offers an encouraging place to share your art, and to have the opportunity to win some really fabulous prizes.  Of course, we always LOVE seeing your cards and projects linked up with us, and you could win the awesome prize.  For this new challenge, our sponsor is Taylored Expressions.  I've always loved this company.  I first started buying their gorgeous 100% Wool Felt, and soon fell in love with all their wonderful stamps and inks.  Now, I just can't get enough.

The card I made uses a set that I guess must be retired at Taylored Expressions because I can't find it on their site any longer.  I sure do love it, and I've used it quite a bit.  Well, no worries....they have LOTS of great stamp sets.  In fact, I own a few of them.  There's something for everyone at Taylored Expressions.  It's a really fun shop.  Anyway...I stamped the heart and the angel, added some baker's twine, a Maya Road ticket, a miniature rusty paper clip, and the word art scripture sentiment that I hand cut into strips.

Here are the fun challenges (listed and linked below) where I'll be sharing my card.  I sure do hope that YOU will stop by Word Art Wednesday to play along in our (always) Anything Goes/Family Friendly challenges.  I love seeing everyone's art linked up with us, and it's just always more fun when everyone can come by to play along.  We really hope to see you there!  Have a blessed and creative week.

Blessings to you,
Karen

Celebrate Family W/ Really Reasonable Ribbon

What a treat to have you stop by today!  I'm so glad you're here because today I'm sharing a warm and welcoming Autumn card and two matching mini albums that I created for Really Reasonable Ribbon.  I apologize that this will be a very long post because I took a photo of every page in the mini albums.  Sorry......kinda!  lol
For my card, I started with some sweet patterned papers, stickers and chipboard from an Echo Park line called I Love Family.  I used white Bazzill Basics for my card base, and then I layered a couple of the patterned papers.  I ran a length of the 1/2" Burgundy Wrinkle Ribbon just off the center left on my card.  I used the 1/2" Burgundy Wrinkle Ribbon, 1/2" Olive Wrinkle Ribbon and a piece of Cream Seam Binding to make my bow.
I also added some White Double Head  Mini Stamens, Red Double Head Mini Stamens, Blue Double Head Mini StamensMatcha Green Double Head Mini Stamens, and I topped that with a 15 mm Green Mulberry Leaf, 20mm Brown Mulberry Leaf, an Orange Open End Rose, a Burgundy Open End Rose and a Light Mocha Open End Rose.  I just LOVE how all the sweet Mulberry Flowers elevate our cards and projects, and give them such amazing texture and life.
Next, I made two coordinating mini albums from the same Echo Park line.  I used a large glassine bag for each mini album.  You can incorporate multiple glassine bags for this project, but today's minis use just one bag each.  I decorated the pages with the patterned papers, stickers and chipboard as well as some other ephemera (journalling spots, tickets, etc.) and some photo spots so that someone can simply pop a few family photos in there...and you have a cute little family memory album.
The pockets provided by the glassine bag gave me one more place to tuck in a photo/journal mat into each album.  I didn't embellish them much.   and secured lengths of Olive Wrinkle Ribbon to the front and back so that I have a tie enclosure for the album for when it's being stored.  The page below shows the left side of the open album.  There's a bit of Ivory Burlap String at the bottom of this page, and it's topped with a sticker.
Page 2, or the right-hand side of the open mini album, gives you a peek at the pocket (to the right) which contains an additional photo/journal mat.  There's lots of extra space for attaching photos, journalling spots and memories.  These make such great little gifts during the holidays, or any time.
On my second glassine bag mini album (pictured below), I added a few Sweethearts Blossoms to the front cover along with a 30mm Green Mulberry Leaf.  And similar to the first album, this one is tied shut with lengths of the pretty 1/2" Ivory Wrinkled Ribbon on each side.
How fun are these little albums?  If you need help finding glassine bags, please let me know.  You can use a simple brown paper lunch bag, or any kind of bag.  I just like the soft, pretty feel of these super sweet, thin little bags.  A few miniature rusty paper clips, wood-grain washi tape, some chipboard, a few journalling spots here and there.....fun!
This is a peek at the left-hand side of the open album.  There aren't any additional Really Reasonable Ribbon products inside this mini album because I wanted to keep them fairly flat.  Lots of paper, lots of places for tucking in precious memories.
The next photo (below) is the right-hand side of the open album, a.k.a. Page 3.  This is also very simple, and gives a peek at the journalling card that goes in the pocket.  It's sticking out just enough for you to get a peek at it.
And finally...the last photo I'm sharing is the back cover of the album.  You can always see that pretty 1/2" Ivory Wrinkled Ribbon showing.  It's GORGEOUS, just like all of the ribbons and trims at Really Reasonable Ribbon.
Thanks again for stopping by today.  I hope you'll remember to join us on the 13th of this, and every month, for our fun BLOG HOP.  We always love to have you join the fun for your chance to win the Ribbon Club Assortment for the month...not to mention a lot of wonderful inspiration as well.  There's always something happening at Really Reasonable Ribbon, so be sure to stop by often.

Blessings,
Karen

I'm playing along here:

Mini Album Makers Blog - September Challenge: Anything Goes - I made TWO mini albums (both shown above) by using glassine bags that are tied together with seam binding.  I love to play along in this challenge each and every time I make a mini album.  They're easy, and SO much fun to make.  What a great way to help others capture happy memories and show photos to friends and family.
