It's a rainy, over-cast day here in Las Vegas. But that didn't stop me from creating. I've been working on all kinds of goodies - vintage houses, Christmas treats and mini books - all because I have one Craft Boutique tomorrow, and my big church boutique in early December. I have to keep BUSY to keep up with all that I have going on, but I wouldn't want it any other way. I have a very blessed life, and I am so grateful.
So, I wanted to enter my favorite weekly challenge (in the hopes of some day winning a $50 gift certificate) at Simon Says Stamp http://www.simonsaysstamp.com/. This week, they are calling for "Buttons", so I did this little card using Basic Grey products (as their DT did), a PTI die-cut and stamp set, vintage buttons, ribbon, machine stitching, and LOTS of glitter.
I absolutely LOVE PTI stamps and die-cuts, and this little button set is just TOO cute. I've gotten a lot of use out of it, and hope everyone gets to know and love Papertrey Ink. They are awesome.
I'm entering this Buttons and Glitter card in the following challenges:
http://simonsaysstampschallenge.blogspot.com/2011/11/simon-says-buttons.html - Simon Says Buttons
http://papertakeweekly.blogspot.com/2011/11/anything-goes-plus-bit-of-bling-if-you.html - Anything Goes

http://anythingchallenge.blogspot.com/2011/11/challenge-53-stitches-real-or-faux-you.html - Stitch It Real or Faux (I used machine stitching)
Before I forget, I wanted to announce the winner of the drawing for my Winnie the Pooh card. The winner is Savannah O'Gwynn. If you will please contact me by Friday, November 11, Savannah, I will get your card in the mail to you right away. Thanks to all those who left a comment and entered to win. There is still time to enter my stamp set give-away (check post below).
I hope this is my lucky week (don't I say that EVERY week? LOL). Anyway, thanks for taking a peek.
Blessings,
Karen
