Happy Wednesday, everyone! It's finally been warming up a bit here in the desert, and although it's still winter and the chill is in the air, I have been able to go for walks each day and enjoy the outdoors a bit more. I'm hoping that this warmer weather will continue, but I'm certainly not holding my breath on that one. I praise God for all the seasons, and I am grateful for each day He gives me.
As I wander through the internet, I am continually amazed by all the sweet digital images out there. One of the many talented artists I've met in blogging is Beatriz Jennings and I've fallen in love with her blog, as well as the darling digital images in her Etsy store called Iralamija Shop. I know that you will want to click the link and check out these darling images. I have used one of her digital images on this card that I created for my Design Team project this week at Word Art Wednesday Challenge Blog.
This sweet sewing image goes so well with all the little embellishments I love so much. For this card, I used the Thread Die-Cut and stamp set from Papertrey Ink that I wrapped in DMC floss, a Basic Grey wooden spool button from Simon Says Stamp, some little flowers, a Prima leave, a hand-cut felt leave, a stick pin, and a chipboard flower cut from a PTI flower die.
This week at Word Art Wednesday, you can have the opportunity to win TWO collage sheets from the darling Etsy Iralamja Shop by Beatriz Jennings. All you have to do is enter your cards in our challenge for the chance to win. Our challenges are always Anything Goes, and you can enter up to 5 times per week. You will absolutely LOVE these sweet images, and I hope you will take advantage of your chance to win.
Since I'm not able to participate in the challenges at Word Art Wednesday, I am going to enter this card in a few other challenges.
Simon Says Stamp Challenge Blog - Simon Says "Let's Get To Paper Piecing" - I love putting different patterned papers and paper mats together. I also used chipboard. Lots of paper pieces!
Creative Corners Challenges - Challenge #4 - Use Pink and Brown. I love this color combination. It gives such a soft, country, vintage feel. I hope you like my card.
Forever Friends Challenges - Challenge #54 - Use Ribbon or Lace - I used BOTH!
Crafting For All Seasons - Challenge #44 - Buttons and Bows
I look forward to visiting your blogs this week, and I thank you for stopping by mine. I enjoy reading your sweet comments, and I'm always blessed when I visit your blogs and see the sweet creations you make. Thanks for stopping by, and please know that I will be by to say hello.
I hope you will take this opportunity to play along with us at Word Art Wednesday, and enter to win these darling digital collage sheets.
Have a blessed week!
Karen

Oh Karen, what a lovely card you've created... full of sweet memories. And you've picked the perfect embellishments. (I actually remember those Singer machines. My Nana and my Mum had them. Sadly mine's an electric Singer.) Your creative talent is truly a blessing to you and to all of us who enjoy it so.
