One of my most favorite challenge themes is Anything Goes, and that's just what's happening this week at The Kraft Journal Challenge Blog. My fellow Design Team Members and I pulled out all our delicious products from The Kraft Outlet and got busy. We'd love to have you play along with us this week, and all you need to do in order to play along and be eligible for the prize is to use either Kraft paper/Kraft products, or anything from The Kraft Outlet. You will find everything from cards, papers, and embellishments to use on your projects, and the prices are very reasonable. This is the card I made for this week's challenge:
I started my card with a Lunchbag Kraft Note Card and some Simple Stories patterned papers. Next, I took a Mini Kraft Merchandise Bag and covered it with a Burlap Triangle that I cut into three pieces in an attempt to make it look like an ice cream cone. I used some sequins for the "ice cream". The Mini Kraft Merchandise Bag is a little bit hidden, but this wonderful item costs only twenty cents, and is perfect to use on projects and cards for tucking a gift card inside, which is what I will do with this Birthday card. I also used some Baker's Twine, a few varieties of Decorative Washi Tape, and the sentiment is a Melissa Frances rub-on. Looking at this card now, I wish I had machine stitched the edges. How did I forget my "signature move"? LOL
I'm entering this card in the following challenges:
Simon Says Stamp Challenge Blog - This week, Simon Says "Anything Goes"
Simon Says Stamp & Show Vintage Challenge Blog - April 1 Challenge - Anything Goes
Simon Says Stamp & Show Vintage Challenge Blog - April 1 Challenge - Anything Goes
Thank you so much for stopping by today. I really hope that you will take the time this week to stop by and play along at both challenges - The Kraft Journal Challenge Blog (Anything Goes), and Word Art Wednesday Challenge Blog (Anything Goes). We love seeing your wonderful creations, and we really hope that you will enjoy playing along with us. We look forward to seeing you!
