Hi there everyone! I hope that you had a blessed and relaxing weekend. I know that I sure had a great time regardless of how fast the weekend seems to slip by. I just try to make the most of every moment and get as much accomplished as possible.
It's time for another great challenge at The Kraft Journal beginning today, and this week's theme is "Just For Him". I know that many of you have been creating Father's Day and masculine cards this week. And so, if you've used any kraft paper or items on your cards, or anything from The Kraft Outlet, I hope that you will stop by and play along with us. Being able to play along in our awesome weekly challenges each week is reason enough to want to "get your kraft on"!!
Karen Letchworth for The Kraft Journal |
For this card, I used several items from The Kraft Outlet. I started with a Small Lunch Bag Kraft Note Card and machine stitched on a piece of October Afternoon patterned paper. Next, I took a piece of canvas cut from a Mini Canvas Tag. These Canvas Tags are SO versatile, and can be used in so many different ways. I stamped my sentiment on the Canvas Tag using a Father's Day sentiment stamp from Verve Rubber Stamps and then cut it out and machine stitched it to the patterned paper. I also used a snippet of Tim Holtz Ruler Ribbon as an accent that I stapled to the side, along with some blue and red Baker's Twine that I ran across the card and tied in a little knot. I really can't wait to see what you will create and enter this week!
Thanks for visiting my blog today. Leave me a message to let me know you were here, and I'll be happy to pop over to your blog to say hello.
Blessings to you all,
Karen
