I had a lot of fun creating this card because I was able to combine several fun challenge requirements into one card. My crafting time this week has been super therapeutic for me, and has helped me to focus on what's really important. SO many fun products and techniques were combined, and I absolutely LOVE it! There's machine stitching, die-cuts, stamping, mini pearl stickers, lace, and flowers just to name a few things. It helps keep my mind off the things going on with my precious sister-in-law, Audra. Your prayers for her are greatly appreciated!
Cheery Lynn Designs - Challenge #149 - All About Texture - I used a dry embossing background that I touched with color to create this fun texturized background, and then added the Cheery Lynn French Pastry Doily Die-Cut as the backdrop, and also the word Blessings from the Blessings Set of 2 Set. Lots of flowers, pearls and layers of texture.
Our Daily Bread Stitch It Challenge - I always enjoy machine stitching on my cards. For this card, I added a dry embossed background, and then added the Our Daily Bread Three Butterflies stamp in the corner of the doily, as well as the Happy Birthday sentiment from the ODBD Happy Birthday Set.
Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge - Make Your Own Background - I created my background using a dry embossing technique dusted with color, and then added my embellishments to that.
Charisma Cardz Challenge Blog - Challenge #20 - Lace and Pearls - I used tiny pearl stickers and lace across the bottom of my card as well as a lace tab at the top left.
Scrapbook Blessings Club - Challenge #29 - Anything Goes/Optional Wiper Card Option - I am happy to say that now I know what a wiper card is, and I am going to give it a try. Thanks for a great challenge.
