Well, the wedding was wonderful! And right now, I'm enjoying a very unexpected three days at my best friend's house making cards and enjoying one another. What a blessing to find myself having this special visit amidst the hectic schedule we've had since we arrived in Minnesota. I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed with gratitude toward my precious Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, for allowing me to enjoy such a wonderful journey during this special time in our lives. I really needed this break from everything, and needed to take some time to listen; and glean wisdom from my precious friend. I've been refueled, and I will remember and treasure these days forever. How blessed I am to have a true Proverbs 17:17 friend for now over 46 years. God is so very good to me, and my cup truly runs over with gratitude. I encourage you to take time to praise His name today. He is SO good, and we are SO blessed. Amen? Here is one picture of our precious girl that was taken just after the ceremony, outside the church. She was smiling from ear to ear ALL day!
I created this first card with some sweet October Afternoon patterned papers, journal and letter stickers (be), and chipboard; as well as a small white doily, some machine stitching, and a Papertrey Ink word die-cut (happy). I have always been such a big fan of October Afternoon, and I always enjoy playing with their bright, fun colors and embellishments. Papers from various OA lines seem to often match one another so nicely, and being able to combine them really helped me to create this card. I am always about ease in crafting.
