Hey there, everyone! Today I'm sharing a sweet little glassine bag I decorated as a sample for a client who wants some party favors for her daughter's birthday. I was completely inspired by the Color Pop Fortune Teller post today at Papertrey Ink. I decided to use the Color Pop Fortune Teller to select the colors for my sample project. Now, let me be honest when I tell you that I was a little bit freaked out when that darker blue popped up. I thought to myself, "how on earth will I ever make this work"? Well....I read Nichole's post again and read what she said about letting someone else pick your colors. So, I just went with it and added some darker blue tulle and sequins. It's definitely colorful!
I picked up these adorable glassine bags at a little shop in Mesa, Arizona a couple weeks ago. I had never seen glassine bags in this particular size and shape before, so I swooped them up. I tucked a cute paper straw and a wooden spoon inside the bags, thinking they would make really cute party favors. This concept was inspired by a project I saw a few days ago on Lilybean Paperie, Melissa Phillips' sweet blog.
I implemented all the colors that the Color Pop Fortune Teller chose for me by including sequins and a seam binding bow to squeeze them all in to my little project. I die-cut a heart, once in vintage dictionary paper and once in Sweet Blush pink wool felt. I hung a sweet Tiny Tags Die and stamped it (Love) with a Tiny Tags Stamp Set.
I'm sharing this sweet little project in the following challenges:
Papertrey Ink - Make It Market Mini Kit - Color Pop Fortune Teller Challenge for PTI's 9th Anniversary - I used the following PTI products on my little party favor - Rustic Cream Button Twine, Tiny Tags Die and Tiny Tags Stamp Set (Love). Please read my story about the color choices (above) that were chosen by using the Color Pop Fortune Teller.

Thanks SO MUCH for visiting me today. I'm always tickled pink by the sweet comments you leave, and I enjoy stopping by to see what all of you are creating as well. I had a lot of fun creating this project. Papertrey Ink has been a long-time favorite of mine, and I would just CRY if I actually ever won at this amazing blog. Although, I'm not holding my breath on that one....LOL
