Hello, and thanks so much for stopping by to take a peek at my card. It's definitely a cheerful card. So......when I play along in a challenge that has the theme "Come Rain or Shine", you can bet that I will always choose the sunshine. I SO enjoy bright, cheerful cards and colors that celebrate everything representing Spring and FUN, and I think that's exactly what the colors in this card do.
I used lots of great Crate Paper Oh Darling patterned papers, the 3-D girl, the tag, the sweetheart banner, and the bows. The glittery chipboard frame is also from Crate Paper, and I added a small piece of vintage scotch tape, and a length of Solid Blue Baker's Twine. I just love the soft, sweet feel this card has, and how the pastel colors lend a touch of Spring and happiness.
I'm sharing my card in the following challenges:
Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge - Simon Says "Come Rain or Shine" - This card definitely falls much more into the "Or Shine" category. At leat that is, until this evening when I accidentally spilled my coffee on it and it "got rained on" for sure.

Lovely card, so many awesome details! This for sure will brighten someones day. After living in AZ for 6 months I think I would choose the rain! I love a good gloomy rainy day once in awhile just to curl up on the sofa with a good book and read. We have seen a couple of sprinkles since we moved but nothing I would call rain! Happy Easter!
ReplyDeleteI would choose sunshine every time too, Karen. Your card is adorable. I enjoy seeing a card that is not all stamping. Thanks for sharing with us at CraftyHazelnut's Patterned Paper challenge.
