I know, I know....some of you are thinking..."Karen really IS one crazy stamper". LOL While it's true, that's not what the title of this post is all about. No, actually I'm Guest Designing in November and December for One Crazy Stamper which is an on-line store and fun, inspirational blog where I'll be sharing one card each week (through the end of December) featuring the newest release from High Hopes Rubber Stamps. The High Hopes Rubber Stamp I used for this particular card is called Large Stackable Santa. He is SO cute, and I am positive that I will be using him again soon.
I actually cut the Large Stackable Santa in half (roughly), but carefully trimmed around his beard so that it would hang down. I placed the top half of Santa at the top of a chipboard frame, and the other half of him down at the bottom of that same chipboard frame. The chipboard frame (being round) looks a little bit like Santa's rolly polly belly, and I backed it with a small piece of vellum. I added some sequins to the center of the frame. You will also notice, especially in the photo above, that everything I did to the Large Stackable Santa was done TWICE so that I could layer him (per his name...stackable). I colored him with Copic markers including Black and Lipstick Red.

For the sentiment, I added a Carta Bella Sticker (Merry Christmas) from their Christmas Delivery Element Sticker Sheet, and Carta Bella Christmas Delivery patterned paper. I tied a length of Black Baker's Twine around the bottom of my card. One Crazy Stamper has so many fabulous stamps and accessories to help you make something wonderful.

ReplyDeleteSuch a fun card. Adorable image, I love what you've done to santa. Thanks for your lovely comments on my blog as always. Hugs xxx
ReplyDeleteWhat a great way to use the image Karen, and a fun card overall. Love Santa's beard hanging down over the die cut, and the black and white twine you used, it's the perfect accent.
