Welcome back by again today, everyone! I hope you're having a great week and that you have been enjoying all the fabulous Paper Sweeties projects being shared. There sure are A LOT of awesome products available at Paper Sweeties, and I hope you will take some time to explore ALL there is to offer. Here's another project I've created using some of my favorites.
I started this little project with a small white paper bag that I folded over and covered with some sweet inked patterned papers. To the front, I added vines and flowers cut from wool felt using the Pretty Posies Sweet Cuts. I stamped the sentiment (You're Snow Special) using the Let It Snow Stamp Set. I stamped Abigail onto white card stock, colored her using my Copics, and cut her out using the Abigail Sweet Cut. Then, I dressed her in her favorite winter coat, hat, mittens and boots by stamping onto patterned papers using the ADORABLE Let It Snow Stamp Set. I topped Abigail's hat with a Grapefruit Sequin.
For the next page of this little book (the inside left - photo below), I used another inked patterned paper and then lined the left-hand side of the page with more wool felt flowers using the lovely Pretty Posies Sweet Cuts. I used the rectangle tag found in the Stitched Tags #1 Sweet Cuts and stamped "Let It Snow, Let It Snow, Let It Snow" in Coal Ink using the Let It Snow Stamp Set. I also topped the tag with a bow tied with Bubblegum Seam Binding.
Finally, on the right-hand side of the booklet, I simply covered the page with patterned paper, and added a scalloped border using the Sweet Borders Sweet Cut, and left a spot for a photo so that when this book is given as a gift, a photo (or two) of some fun Winter activities can be stored in this place. And because this is a paper bag album and comes with a built-in pocket, I added a tag for additional photos or journalling, and I added some Green Apple Seam Binding and Watermelon Seam Binding to it.
My talented team-mates have each prepared something special to share with you today, and I hope that you will take some time to stop by their blogs to take a look at how they used some of their favorite Paper Sweeties favorites to inspire you with their "Blast From The Past".
