Hello again, and thanks for stopping by today. The card I'm sharing is an easy yet classy Father's Day card. As the company name, Stamp Simply, would imply; making cards with these amazing stamps and dies is truly SO very simple. Stamp Simply makes it easy to stamp lovely handmade cards. Of course, you can also use their wonderful products using more advanced stamping skills/techniques. But any time you want to make a quick simple card, Stamp Simply gives you SO many great options to help you make it happen.
This card started with basic black cardstock that I layered with a piece of patterned paper from the Craft Consortium's Wood Textures 6x6 Paper Pad. I ran the patterned paper through my Cuttlebug with the Tim Holtz Lumber Embossing Folder to give it some great texture. This completed my card base quite simply.
Next, I used a Spellbinders Frame Die to cut a frame from black corrugated cardboard and then a small one from white watercolor paper that I rubbed with oxide inks. I used A Godly Man Stamp Set to stamp the sentiment and the deer, and I used the coordinating A Godly Man's Buck Die to cut the deer head image. How simple is that? Well, since this a Father's Day card; there was just one more step to creating this simple card.
I used the All Occasions Sentiments 2 Stamp Set on the inside of my card to stamp Happy Father's Day. I also used the Wood Textures 6x6 Paper Pad and Tim Holtz Lumber Embossing Folder again on the inside of my card as well as the A Godly Man Stamp Set (deer and antlers) and coordinating A Godly Man's Buck Die. It's always nice to have a simple card on hand for any occasion, and Stamp Simply really does make it easy to create wonderful cards - from the very simple to the very sophisticated. Be sure to stop by the Stamp Simply Blog for lots of great inspiration and Stamp Simply Store for lots of great shopping. Thanks so much for visiting me today.
