Eureka Stamps - Happy Birthday

I know that some of you may be asking me why on earth I would take on another Design Team position right now when my plate is so full.  I will tell you the reason why I decided to do this.  Eureka Stamps Challenge Blog has darling digital images, an amazing group of sweet crafters, and they just share such a strong bond within their group to pray for and encourage one another.  So, when they invited me to join in the fun for a six-month Design Team commitment, I simply couldn't resist.  I've already made all my art for January and February, have made some very sweet new friends, and have just really been enjoying the fellowship of this lovely group of crafters.  I realize that I probably cannot commit past July, but for now - I am just enjoying this journey with these darling digital images and these lovely people.  I hope that you will stop by Eureka Stamps and play along to win some of these darling images.  They are also a quarterly sponsor of our challenges this year at Word Art Wednesday so you have plenty of opportunities to snag up some AWESOME images.  The new Design Team has some great inspiration projects shared on the blog.  Check it out!  Here is my project for this week's Make It Sparkle challenge.
I used their darling circle and heart balloon digis, which I colored and glittered (quite a bit) to make them SPARKLE.  The patterned papers and chipboard letters and stars are by October Afternoon, I did some machine stitching, added some baker's twine, used a Fiskars border punch and a Papertrey Ink stamped sentiment.

I'm entering these challenges:

Simon Says Stamp Challenge Blog - This week Simon Says to use a New Something, and my new something are the digis from Eureka Stamps and American Crafts ultra-fine glitter set from Simon Says Stamp Superstore

Crafty Mess Challenge Blog - Show Something With Sparkle or Bling - I used LOTS of glitter on this project so that it will sparkle for sure.

Thanks for sharing all my exciting news with me today.  Sorry I had to cram so much information into two posts.  But please know that I am incredibly grateful for all the encouragement and kind words that each of you offer me when you stop by my blog.  I hope you know that I am also VERY excited for each of you as you win challenges, take on new Design Teams and Guest Design spots, and share your beautiful art.  You all bless my life SO very much, and......

My Cup Runneth Over,

Karen

  20. What a fantastic card Karen. I wanted to come over and say thanks for your super sweet comment that you left on my blog and decided to scroll down through your latest cards. I really, really like this one. Are you familiar with my "Saturday Showcase" post? I'd love to put this card in it. Can you come over and click on my email link so that way we can discuss it a little more privately.
