Anything Goes at Word Art Wednesday

Happy Wednesday, everyone!  It's time for another new Anything Goes challenge at Word Art Wednesday and we really hope that you will join us.  Our sponsors this week are the fabulous Lisa's Altered Art AND Eureka Stamps where someone will win 5 free images of their choice.  I really hope that you will share your art this week.  We would LOVE to see what you're creating.  I chose to make a little tag for my project.
I used a simple tag and some fabric tape from Freckled Fawn, half of a vintage cream doily, a little scrap of My Mind's Eye patterned paper that I machine stitched to the tag, some scrunched seam binding from My Craft Spot by Kimberly, and some vintage sheet music (under the word art/scripture, on the angels wings, and covering a button up in the bow.  I also used a snipped of jute and an angel die-cut from Papertrey Ink, and some pink Twinery baker's twine from V's Sweet Ideas.

    I love your little angel tag, Karen. The subdued colors are beautiful and are enhanced by the soft textures in your design. I can visualize this piece framed for a girl's shabby chic bedroom. Blessings!
