The Kraft Journal

I am SO grateful for Blogger allowing us to schedule our blog posts because, as this post goes live this morning, I am travelling.  But luckily, through modern technology, I am still able to share this week's challenge with you all that's happening over at The Kraft Journal Challenge Blog.  For this week's challenge, "Inks, Paints and Markers", I decided to use Inks and Paints.  I started my project with a Small Lunch Bag Kraft Notecard and attached a piece of floral patterned paper to that.  Next, I took a Mini Kraft Merchandise Bag and stamped a "thank you" sentiment on it with olive green INK.  These Mini Kraft Merchandise Bags are wonderful for tucking in a gift card (which you can see in the photo).  I used some acrylic PAINT in turquoise and pink and touched the edges to match the floral patterned paper.  More INK was  used to stamp "thank you", and more PAINT was used on the edges of this as well.  The final touch was made with a few lengths and a bow made of Pastel Hemp Cord.  The Hemp Cord comes in several wonderful colors.

I don't have time to enter any challenges this week because of our travel plans, but I still hope that all of you will stop by and share your art in our challenges this week at The Kraft Journal and at Word Art Wednesday.  We would love to have you play along with us.

Have a blessed week!

Karen

  2. Karen I just love how you stamped the merchandise bag with an all-over sentiment. So gonna stamp-lift that idea! The acrylic paint adds a nice touch of color to your project.
