God's Amazing Grace

I am SO grateful for God's amazing gift of grace.  It's by His grace that we can KNOW we are going to Heaven, and there is no better news in the world than that!  The Bible tells us in Ephesians 2:5-9 "For by grace are ye saved through faith, and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:  Not of works, lest any man should boast.  For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works....."  I have so many blessings in my life, but above all else, I am SO grateful for God's amazing grace!

I made this mini album while I was at my best friend, Patti's house, on vacation.  I had to wait until I got home to post it because it needed to be bound (using my Zutter binding machine) and also needed a few finishing touches.  I don't have anything tucked into the pockets yet, but since it's made with paper bags, there are pockets in each page that I can use for tucking goodies inside (my favorite part of making paper bag albums).

This is the cover of the album.  The entire book uses primarily Crate Paper's Pretty Party line.  I just LOVE all the sweet chipboard and sticker embellishments that came with this darling line.  I also used LOTS of sweet buttons, seam binding and trinkets throughout.  The "Grace" stamped sentiment is from Verve Stamps.
Page 2 shows another great Verve stamped scripture which I placed on a doily.  I did lots of machine stitching in this mini album as well.
Page 3 has several of the Pretty Party patterned papers, a K & Co. fabric brad and a crocheted doily flower along with more machine stitching.  The stamped image is  from Hero Arts and is stamped on a Freckled Fawn shipping tag.  For a chance to win a $15 Freckled Fawn gift certificate, please come play along in our challenge this week at Word Art Wednesday.
Page 4 is my favorite page in the book.  That sweet shabby flower was cut from a piece of linen muslin using Die-Namics Loopy Flower Die-Cut and it's embellished with a Maya Road stick pin, some baker's twine and a felt leaf.  The "laugh" sticker is from JilliBean Soup, and the chipboard is from the Pretty Party line.
And finally Page 5 is another really cute page with scripture.  I used a resin flower in the center of my seam binding bow, and also placed little pearl accents in the centers of the flowers on the little tag, along with more machine stitching.  I'm SO glad that there's room for photos in all those wonderful built-in pockets!
Although I did decorate the back of the album, I didn't shoot a picture of it.  You'll just have to trust me that it's decorated.  This book turned out really cute, and we sure had a lot of fun making them.  I always enjoy creating projects using God's Word.
