CAS Challenge at The Kraft Journal

The word "CHALLENGE", in and of itself, implies that it should be at least somewhat pushing you to try things that don't necessarily come easy.  For me, this would be the concept of the CAS card.  For those of you who know me well, you've seen that I tend to add  A LOT to every card and project I create.  So, keeping it "CAS" really is a true challenge for me.

So, for this week's CAS Challenge at The Kraft Journal Challenge Blog, I really tried my best to keep it simple. I started my card with a fabulous Lunch Bag Kraft Notecard and attached some lovely Cosmo Cricket Tea for Two papers.  I adorned my CAS card with a few goodies from The Kraft Outlet including a length of Burlap Black Ribbon, some red and black Baker's Twine, a Tim Holtz Memo Pin, and an inked Tim Holtz Adage Ticket (PLAY) that is attached to an inked Grungy Prim Tag.   You'll find lots of great embellishments in the amazing Kraft Outlet store, and we would LOVE having you play along in our "Clean and Simple" Challenge this week.

Thanks for stopping by today.  I hope to see you all entering the challenges this week at both The Kraft Journal Challenge Blog and Word Art Wednesday Challenge Blog.  I always enjoy seeing your projects, and....you will have the opportunity to win some fabulous prizes.  I hope to see you there!

Have a blessed week!

  1. CAS is tough. But somehow you made it look easy...again! What a fun card!

I always like the patterned paper you choose. It is a good thing we do not live near each other- I have a feeling we would shop for paper pads frequently!

    Have a good Monday!

  5. If I'm being very honest, I don't even know what CAS means (other than from what you posted, I'm guessing it somehow means casual). But I think your card is really cute.
