What Day Is It?

How many of you have seen that commercial with the big camel walking through the office saying, "What Day Is It"?  You know what day it is!  Right?  It's "HUMP DAY" and that always means it's right smack dab in the middle of week, and a great time for some mid-week encouragement.  I hope that you will all stop by Word Art Wednesday to be encouraged, enjoy our free scripture/word art file, to fellowship with us, and to link up and share your art this week in our challenge.  We, once again, have two amazing prizes up for grabs.  We have a $20 gift certificate from Verses Rubber Stamps as well as a roll of adorable October Afternoon 9 to 5 Washi Tape from this year's October Afternoon Warehouse Sale (where I spent almost $60 this year).  I absolutely LOVE OA, and I have a hard time saying no to their sale each year (or their products in general).
Karen Letchworth for Word Art Wednesday
This card was made using Cosmo Cricket's Tea For Two patterned paper.  This patterned paper was run through my Big Shot in a Tim Holtz ruler embossing folder.  Next, I added a vintage cream doily, and a journaling tag also from Cosmo Cricket's Tea For Two line.  There's some yellow clunny lace, a PTI button, a bit of ribbon, some jute in the button, and Tim Holtz ink everywhere.  I really like how this turned out.  I usually forget to use my embossing plates, and I'm always pleased with the texture they add.

I'm going to share this card in the following:

Twist of Faith Cards - Challenge #58 - Autumn Colors - My card isn't totally Autumn colors, but I still love to share my scripture cards at Twist of Faith

Thank you for stopping by to say hello!

God bless you,
Karen

  1. This is SO pretty, Karen! I just LOVE those embossing plates, although I don't own any. I love seeing people use them to make their background really stand out. I also love the doily and how you printed your scripture on the card. VERY sweet. I really am hoping to enter the challenge at Word Art Wednesdays this week, and hopefully even some of these other challenges you've mentioned here. Thanks for sharing your sweet cards with us all. You're SO inspiring, girl.
    Hugs,
