Word Art Wednesday & A Lucky Winner

Wednesdays are always one of my most favorite days of the week because it's time for another fun challenge over at Word Art Wednesday, it's "hump day" for my husband and daughter (getting closer to the weekend), and this week I also have a winner to announce, as well as a Blog Hop for Top Dog Dies.  If you want to participate in the Blog Hop, click here:  Blog Hop Post, and if you want to play along at Word Art Wednesday, please click here:  Anything Goes at Word Art Wednesday.  I also wanted to announce the name of the winner for my antique floral frog.  I combined all the names of those who commented on both blog posts where I mentioned it, and the lucky winner is Diane Noble.  I will get your sweet little floral frog in the mail at my first convenience.  Congratulations Diane, and thanks to everyone for playing along.
For this week's challenge at Word Art Wednesday, we were given the verse Galatians 5:22-23 which talks about the fruit of the spirit- attributes for which we must ALL strive. Attributes that show the world we are more like Christ, and less like the world.  These are all qualities that help make us become everything God has planned for us.  I made my card with lots of October Afternoon Farm Girl products.  I decorated both the outside front of the card, as well as the inside of the card where I placed the scripture.  I printed it crooked, but I just went with it.  I don't get frazzled when things get "messed up"; I just make it work somehow.
The inside of the card with the scripture on it is primarily a patterned paper base, the printed scripture on cardstock, machine stitching, and a few strips of matching papers and washi tapes.  I enjoy decorating the inside of my cards using scripture so that the recipient will be blessed by the verse inside.

We can't wait to see what you will share with us this week at Word Art Wednesday.  See you there!

Karen
