This week at The Kraft Journal, we're having a really fun challenge to celebrate BABIES! There's nothing on earth quite as sweet as a new baby. And even if you don't currently have a newborn baby in your life to create a baby card for, you know very well that the time will soon come that you'll need one. So, why not create a baby card to share in our challenge this week, and either send it to someone who has recently had a baby; or just save it for when you need the card, and you'll be ahead of the game. It's a fun challenge, and all you need to do in order to play along and be eligible for the $15 Gift Certificate to the Kraft Outlet is to use either kraft paper of any sort, or any item that can be purchased at the Kraft Outlet.
For this very simple card, I used a Small Buff/Ivory Note Card as my base. Then, I added a piece of Buff/Ivory Card Stock and a large journalling card (Bb) that I inked. Then, I cut some strips of Crafty Secrets images (mother and father) to add to the sides. I embellished this simple card with a seam binding bow using Dove Grey and Rose Beige Hand-Stained Bias Tape/Seam Binding with some Green Baker's Twine worked into the center. I also added a rustic looking Tim Holtz Memo Pin to the middle of my bow, which is really a great idea for holding a tiny tag with the baby's name. As I mentioned, it's a very simple card, but the Kraft Outlet makes it easy to create something you (and the proud parents) will love.
I really hope that you will stop by to check out all the great items carried at the Kraft Outlet, and then join in this fun Baby Challenge with us at The Kraft Journal. We absolutely LOVE seeing your sweet creations, and enjoy having you play along with us.
Have an awesome week, and thanks so much for stopping by today.
God bless you,
Karen
