I'm happy to be playing along again in the Winter Coffee-Loving Cardmakers Blog Hop. I started making my cards for this special event in November during my "down time" so that I'd have lots of brand new Christmas coffee-themed cards to share during the hop. I'm actually travelling as the Winter Coffee Blog Hop is taking place, so I had to be very organized before I ever left town.
This card was created using Ocotber Afternoon patterned paper, hot cocoa card, and journalling sticker. The coffee cup is a Stampin' Up set, and the Naughty or Nice sticker is from Echo Park. I also added some Lipstick Red Seam Binding, Bay Leaf Seam Binding and a Tim Holtz safety pin.
This second photo (above) shows that cool looking Tim Holtz pin a bit better. I also tucked in half of a white doily, and a little snowflake with miniature pearl in the center near the journalling sticker at the bottom. Am I crazy, or is that pin not the cutest thing ever? So often I forget to use all these extra little trinkets I have in my stash. I need to use Pinterest more!
You can also see my sloppy sewing machine mistakes in this nice close-up photo....LOL. I do love the texture of the coffee cup lid from the Bazzil paper. I also do adore how retro, vintage and fun these older October Afternoon goodies lend to my card. Thanks so much for stopping by, and have fun in the Winter Coffee Blog Hop, everyone!
