25 Days of Christmas With Paper Sweeties

What a blessing to have you stop by my blog today, friends.  I'm sharing again today, on Day 18, as we celebrate the 25 Days of Christmas With Paper Sweeties.  It's always a very happy and therapeutic time for me when I create with my Paper Sweeties' products.  They're just SO sweet, and it brings me JOY to create with them.  It's fun to think....."what SWEET stamps do I want to use on this one"?  And that's truly how it is with Paper Sweeties.  Everything is just SO sweet.  I'm telling you friends, you will LOVE these extra sweet products.
Today I'm sharing two projects.  The first is this card, which a little bit "Valentine's Day-ish" - ok, that's not a word.  But you get my meaning, right?  It has a definite Valentines vibe, but it can also be used as a Christmas card with the theme of LOVE.  We all need a whole lot for LOVE all year round, right?  So this card started with a red cardstock base.   I added some cute patterned paper (Crate Paper - Bundled Up) as well as some antique sheet music.  I cut the hearts using the With Love Sweet Cuts and interchanged them with the red cardstock and antique sheet music for contrast.
Next was sweet Madison.  She was also stamped on the antique sheet music, and was cut using the  Madison Sweet Cut.  Her outfit, cut from both patterned paper and sheet music, was stamped using the Stamp Set and was hand cut.  I colored her just a tad with my Copics and attached her to the card base.  The sentiment I used LOVE LOVE is found in the Merry Stamp Set and was stamped in Coal Black Ink.  The flower in her hair was cut from red wool felt and a patterned paper with hand-embroidered French knots using the A Friend Is Sweet Cuts.
The finishing touches to this sweet card are lengths of Strawberry Seam Binding and Frosting Seam Binding, dangling softly down upon the sentiment.  Like I say....Paper Sweeties has the sweetest products to help you make something wonderful.  For instance, a simple glassine bag (or any small craft bag) that you decorate and make into a lovely little keepsake for tucking in a (Starbucks or other) gift card.  Take a look at this simple project - just a folded paper bag - decorated with Paper Sweeties.
My second project is a small glassine bag that I covered with several small scraps of some darling patterned papers I had left over.  These small glassine bags (or even lunch bags) are a great way to use up paper scraps, AND...they make great gift card holders.  That's exactly what I did with this small glassine bag.  It features lots of great patterned papers, washi tapes, vintage scotch tape, and LOTS of great products from Paper Sweeties.
On the front of this little book, I placed a Rectangle Scalloped Frame and I stamped/cut one holly/berries image using the Meet Me Under The Mistletoe Stamp Set and Sweet Cuts and a few more smaller ones using the Truck Add-Ons: Home Stamp Set & Sweet Cuts to adorn the front page.  I stamped the sentiment  You Better Not Pout using the You Better Not Pout Stamp Set.  On the little paper insert I made for the pocket of the glassine bag, I stamped #believe using the You Better Not Pout Stamp Set.
As you can see from the photos, behind the paper journalling card tucked into the pocket, I also placed a Starbucks gift card that sorta matches the colors of my project.  I just tucked it in there for gift-giving.  SO perfect!  Then, on the inside of my book; on the left-hand side I added more of the patterned papers and stamped the sentiment Homemade With Love as well as the darling Peppermint Sticks using the Homemade With Love Stamp Set.  They were cut with the coordinating Homemade With Love Sweet Cuts.
On the right-hand side of the inside, I placed more of the sweet patterned papers and I stamped the darling cupcake found in the Homemade With Love Stamp Set.  I colored it with my Copics and attached small bits of vintage scotch tape.  I just like that there's enough room to either attach a couple of small photos when I give this gift; or I can do some journalling (personal notes and hand writing) to the recipient to create a treasured  memory.
The back cover of this little book/gift bag is also covered with patterned papers.  I used a small scrap of antique sheet music to stamp the sentiment I LOVE YOU using the I Love You Stamp Set, and I cut the sentiment flag using the Sweet Borders Sweet Cuts.  You'll never have a shortage of CUTE stamps when you shop at Paper Sweeties.  And....Small glassine bags (or small lunch/treat bags of any size) are wonderful for making these little gift card holders.  A few quick patterned papers and some lovely Paper Sweeties products, and there you go.  It's as cute as can be.  I hope you'll stop by Paper Sweeties and treat yourself for Christmas.  Why not?  They have SO many darling products waiting for you, and we hope that our inspiration this month has given you some fun new ideas.
Thanks again for stopping by today.  I hope you're almost ready (or at least more prepared than I am) for a safe, happy and blessed Christmas as we all celebrate the birth of our Savior and King, the Lord Jesus Christ.  May God bless and keep you at Christmas and always.  I'm so grateful for you all and for your visits to my blog.  Merry Christmas to you all, dear blog friends.

My Cup Runneth Over,
Karen
