It's a great day for a card challenge, and I decided to make a card for a few of my favorite challenges. I used some brand NEW products I just received from Reverse Confetti. As soon as they arrived, I was excited to create with them. The January Challenge at Reverse Confetti is all about LOVE; and I own a few Reverse Confetti items now, so I was able to come up with a sweet card for this challenge.
First, I used a white cardstock base and I inked it up with Poppy Red Ink and Ballerina Pink Ink. Next, I used the Reverse Confetti Linked Circles Cover Plate to cut my background panel from a piece of patterned cardstock from my stash. I attached that to the card base. I cut a circle using the Lacy Scalloped Circles Confetti Cuts. On that circle, I stamped my sentiment which is found in the Hanging Blooms Stamp Set. The stamped hanging flowers and leaves are also found in the Hanging Blooms Stamp Set.
I cut three wool felt hearts using the negative pieces using the Oh My Heart Cover Panel. I attached those and added some small resin flowers, some floral stamens, and a piece of bundled Ivory Burlap String. In that floral cluster with hearts, I also painted some mint green paper and cut some greenery for my cluster using the darling little Layered Laurels Confetti Cuts.
Thanks for stopping by to take a peek at my card today. I'll be sharing it in the challenges listed below, and I hope you're having fun playing along in some fun challenges this week as well. Take care and God bless y'all.
Karen

Simon Says Stamp - Wednesday Challenge Blog: Stock Your Stash: Simon Says "Something New" - I just got these new Reverse Confetti products in the mail from a recent order. I was SO excited to start creating with them, and chose to enter my card in the SSS Wednesday Challenge. I used stock/stash and NEW products on this card.
Pixie's Crafty Workshop: Pixie's Playground Challenge #394 - Anything Goes/1 Entry - I used one piece of scrap patterned paper to cut my background panel, and then used the white paper scrap for the die cut circle and sprigs.
Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog: Use Something New/Unused Product - I just received this order from Reverse Confetti the other day. I used the Cover Panel and Stamp Set for the very first time on this sweet card.
Such a sweet and gorgeous card, Karen!!
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful! The colour and placement of the die cut foliage is perfect, it seems like an extension of the stamped leaves in the hanging flowers.
