Crafting and card-making is so much fun. We all enjoy our creative time, blogging, sharing, playing along in challenges, making friends, and being inspired. I'm always so grateful for the amazing cards and projects everyone shares out there in Blogland. I'm inspired over and over again each day as I browse through your blogs, visit Pinterest, and see all the pretty things everyone is creating. I've been having the best time as a Guest Designer for Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps using their awesome stamps, stencils, and products. The creative ideas have been flowing through my mind, and can't stop.
I created this card using several FAB products from Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps. I started with basic cardstock to create the base. I used a piece of white cardstock to stamp the cool background using the October Geometric Background Stamp embossed in white. I used various Tim Holtz Oxide Inks to fill in the colors to create that fun background. SNSS carries LOTS of great Background Stamps to help you create cool backdrops on all your cards.
Once I had the background finished, I sized and printed out the Opal Owl Digital Stamp and I colored her with my Copics and fussy cut the image. I used some 3-D foam tape to raise the owl just a bit. The finishing touches were some black seam binding, solid baker's twine, and a mulberry rose. I do enjoy using ribbon on my cards... as most of you know.
The clouds and the sentiment (Hello Friend) can both be found in the How Tweet Stamp Set. It's so cool that all of the stamps and products from Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps work together and compliment one another so nicely. I find myself combining stamps from various stamp sets on my SNSS cards. The creative possibilities are truly endless. I hope you'll take some time to check out Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps and all their wonderful products. I'm so grateful to be designing for them again this month. I hope you're having a blessed and creative week.
