Welcome by today, creative friends. What have you been making this week? I can already imagine all the stamps, inks and papers spread across your crafting tables much like mine. Many evenings when I'm really getting into it, my hubby will eventually ask, "did you have any dinner plans, or should I order something"? LOL We all tend to get caught up in our crafting. Well, this is much the case when I start playing and creating with my Paper Sweeties dolls. It takes me back to the treasured days of playing with my paper dolls.
This month at Paper Sweeties we're showing the Paper Sweeties dolls (who we call our "Sweeties"). Today's projects feature the adorable Abigail. I used the Abigail Stamp to stamp her in Coal Black Ink, I colored her with my Copics, and then I cut her using the Abigail Sweet Cut. Her outfit was stamped using the Back To School Stamp Set from some Doodlebug Patterned Paper. I used the Treat Box Sweet Cut to create my cute little box, and I attached several sweet Seam Binding bows topped with a Doodlebug button. I placed Abigail on the treat box, and then I stamped the word JOY onto another piece of Doodle Patterned Paper using the Blessed Stamp Set. The finishing touches to this sweet little Treat Box were the darling flower-shaped Sequins.
I also made a card using sweet Abigail. I started with cardstocks for my base, and then I used Fog Ink Pad to stamp the words THANKFUL and BLESSED with the Blessed Stamp Set. I splattered a bit of paint on my card, and added a couple flowers. I really wanted Abigail to be the star of this card. Isn't she pretty? Her outfit was stamped using the Aloha Stamp Set, which I fussy cut and placed on her adorable little body. There are so many great stamp sets at Paper Sweeties, and they all work together so nicely to help you create the most adorable cards and projects.
Here are the direct links to the Paper Sweeties posts of each of my talented teammates. I know they'll have something awesome waiting to inspire you. If you've ever considered purchasing a Paper Sweeties doll (or even if you haven't), this is a great time to get yours because they're ON SALE this month. With this sale, you can mix and match any Sweeties (dolls), Sweeties Cuts (doll cuts), and all outfit/accessory stamp sets. I also made this quick cute little tag to add to this little gift set. It uses the Stitched Tags #1 Sweet Cuts and the Blessed Stamp Set, Seam Binding and Doodlebug products.
Don't forget about this SALE taking place during the Month of November. You can mix and match the dolls (Sweeties), their coordinating die-cuts (Sweet Cuts) and all the different Sweeties' outfit/accessoray stamp sets. You can find more details about the special sales and promotions on the Paper Sweeties Blog.
