Hello, and welcome by again today as I share another FUN card I created as part of my two-month Guest Design spot with the wonderful Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps. If you're not yet familiar with this amazing Christian company, I strongly encourage you to stop by to check out their wonderful stamps and products. You won't be disappointed, let me just say. WOW, they have some really wonderful stuff. I've had SO much fun designing for them. So, this card started with a cardstock base to which I added a piece of Crate Paper patterned paper from the Bundled Up line. On top of that, I used a piece of white cardstock to stamp the Geometric Background in pinks and reds. I just LOVE this awesome Geometric Background Stamp and ALL of the amazing Background Stamps available at SNSS.How CUTE is this? That Geometric Background is such a winner and creates such a lovely background. Next, I used the Hat & Mittens Digital Stamp Set and I printed out the ADORABLE hat ad mittens. I colored them with my Copics and carefully cut them. I placed them on 3-D Foam Tape and placed them on that wonderful background.
The sentiment I used (Happy Holidays) as well as those gorgeous berry sprigs, can be found in the gorgeous new Wonder of Christmas Stamp Set. I colored the berries to coordinate with the colors I used on the hat and mittens and that tied everything together. Well, sorta....I don't know what convinced me to use a green patterned paper, but I did. And I'm standing behind it. LOL
As you can see, Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps makes it EASY to combine traditional ink stamping with using printed digital images. It's good to remember digital stamps and to utilize them. They're less expensive, easy to size, and easy to store. I hope this re-inspires you to revisit digital stamps. Sweet 'n Sassy has some really lovely digital stamps. In fact, I've used several during my Guest Design spot and I have yet another pretty partially-digital card to share with you next month.
Thanks again for visiting me. I'd love to hear your thoughts on my card, on digital stamps, or whatever. I do struggle with my crummy old printer, but eventually it always starts working again. (after it plays dead for a while...lol) Have a great week, everyone!
Blessings,
Karen
