The month of November seems to be flying by quickly, doesn't it? I can't believe that my second month as a Guest Designer for Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps is almost over. I've had SO much fun creating with their wonderful products. So with that said, I couldn't finish my GDT spot without sharing this sweet card that I created by again combining a variety of stamp sets.I started with black cardstock, blue cardstock, and then a corrugated cardboard. Next I used a piece of white cardstock and I stamped the entire gingham background in Stormy Night Tim Holtz Oxide Ink using the Texture Tiles 4 (Gingham Background) Stamp Set. Then, I stamped the light script you see in Hickory Smoke Oxide Ink using the Typewriter Text Background Stamp.Well, I didn't stop there. No! I used the Going Postal Stamp Set to stamp the wavy lines (postage cancellation marks) as well as the US Postal circle stamped image at the top right. They're just cute, and they add a little something extra. They're more subtle when stamped in the lighter tones and more bold when stamped in the dark. I like the contrast of being able to layer lots of great stamped images from Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps. Finally, the sentiment I stamped (just a note) can be found in the Everyday Greetings Stamp Set. This set contains several fun sentiments. My finishing touches were some Oyster Baker's Twine and a Tim Holtz miniature rusty paper clip. I hope you'll stop by Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps to treat yourself. They're having some amazing sales this month as they celebrate their 14th Birthday. Don't miss out on the bargains! Happy crafting.
Blessings,
Karen
