There are so many challenges right now where the theme is about RAIN. Well, we live smack dab in the middle of the desert where it very seldom rains. In fact, while it's snowing at some of my friends' houses, we're already using the air conditioning because it's so hot. So instead of making a rainy day card, I made this quick little SUNSHINE card.
I used some black and some yellow cardstock for my base. I added a piece of floral patterned paper and used some Lemonade Oxide Ink to paint a SUNNY background. The journalling sticker, triangle stickers and chipboard pieces (sunshine sentiment and heart) are all from Crate Paper. The word Hello is a die-cut from Frantic Stamper that I cut from the same patterned paper I used on my card base. The finishing touches were a bit of machine stitching and a piece of Solid Deep Pink Baker's Twine that I wrapped around the card.Below are the links to the FUN challenges where I'm sharing this SUNSHINE card. I'm sorry if you're one of those still being bombarded with SNOW. Please know that I'm sending you a bit of sunshine from Las Vegas where it's HOT. In fact, the air conditioning just came on again. Ahhhhh!!
