My favorite thing about Stamp Simply Clear Stamps is that I can always find the perfect images, sentiments and products to help me make any card I might need. Our sweet grandson, Bennet, is turning 4 next week. His parents (our daughter and son-in-law) are missionaries who live overseas. We don't often get to spend the kids' birthdays with them. But this year, they're in the US and we'll all be together for Bennett's birthday and Thanksgiving.
As I went to make a card for Bennett's 4th birthday, I knew for sure that, as always, I'd find the perfect stamps from Stamp Simply to make this card special. I used a dark wood grain paper from the Craft Consortium's Wood Textures 6x6 Paper Pad layered with a red wood grain paper from the Craft Consortium's Beach Hut 6x6 Paper Pad.
On the top layer, I used basic white cardstock that I rubbed with Tim Holtz Oxide Ink in Speckled Egg at the top and with Vintage Photo at the bottom. I stamped, colored and fussy cut the darling little boy and dog using the Stick Family Stamp Set, and the Happy Birthday and xoxoxo are also found in this same set. The Cozy Coupe (car), beach ball and soccer ball are from the Stick Family Add-Ons Stamp Set. The word Grandson is found in the Stick Family Sentiments Stamp Set, and the words Big Boy and the number 4 are all found in the Stick Family Sentiments Add-Ons Stamp Set.
I also cut the smallest heart from the Farmhouse Pierced Nested Hearts Dies to highlight the number 4. The reason why I used the Cozy Coupe (car) is because we have a Cozy Coupe in our back yard and it's one of the things Bennett loves most when he visits. He often asks to see his car when we're on FaceTime calls when he's at home (on the other side of the world....literally). We have four grandkids; but Bennett is our only grandson and he has stolen our hearts from day one. We're so excited to spend time and his birthday with him this year.

I'm sharing my card here:
Colorful Options Challenge - November: Red - I love the red accents, and I used red woodgrain patterned paper, and lots of red accents in my images. The image is the boy playing Frisbee inspired my playful card.
A Barrel of Monkeys Challenge #10 - Legos - I didn't actually have any Legos stamps to add to my card, but I was inspired by the primary Lego colors in the photo.
Blessings,
Karen
