Hello, sweet friends! Thanks for visiting me here today. Unfortunately, from time to time, we all need to send a sympathy card to someone. It's never something we "want" to do, but it's something we occasionally need to do to let others know how much we care and that we're thinking of them during a difficult time. Stamp Simply always has the perfect stamps, dies and products to help us create the perfect card for any and every occasion.
This card started with basic black cardstock that I layered with a pretty purple faux wood patterned paper from the Craft Consortium Beach Hut 6x6 Paper Pad. I layered that with a small piece of white cardstock that's rubbed with Concord Oxide Ink and splattered with water and paint. I stamped the sympathy sentiments using the Pretty Poppies Stamp Set.
The lovely flowers are also poppies that are found in the same Pretty Poppies Stamp Set. I colored them with my Copics and cut them using the coordinating Pretty Poppies Steel Dies. All the die-cuts from Stamp Simply give you a perfect cut every time. They're amazing - just like all the products at Stamp Simply. There's a Paper Pad to match every project as well as ribbons and flowers. Stop by Stamp Simply to check out all their wonderful products.
You'll find lots of fabulous inspiration every day on the Stamp Simply Blog and Stamp Simply Instagram Page. And, of course, there's always lots of great shopping to do at Stamp Simply. Thanks so much for stopping by today, and please know that I really appreciate it. Have a wonderfully creative week. I hope to see you again soon.
I'm playing along here:
Pammie's Inky Pinkies Challenge - Challenge #2511: Anything Goes
TIME OUT Challenges - Challenge #284 - The Red Carpet - When I saw this fabulous inspiration photo, I was immediately drawn to the bottom left image of the purple ombre dress. Fabulous! That completely inspired my card. The flowers are tall and thin just like the model, and the flowers are the purple gown that clothe the stems (her body). Tall, strong and beautiful in purple.
What's inspiring you this week?
Blessings,
Karen
