June Challenge at Paper Funday - For Baby

It's always a good thing to have extra baby cards and birthday cards on hand.  I try my best to stay ahead on those and other cards so that I'll always be prepared.  When I won the opportunity to be the June Guest Designer at The Paper Funday Challenges, I knew right away that their challenges are all about PAPER and using lots of it in creative ways (or not-so-creative ways).  Anyway, I decided to pull out some much older patterned papers for this purpose.

The challenges at Paper Funday are always Anything Goes OR there's always an Optional Twist.  This month's Optional Twist is Embossing (Wet or Dry).  I chose to make a Baby card which uses the Anything Goes Option.  I used white cardstock layered with the patterned papers and stickers from Simply Stories Oh Baby line.  I did some machine stitching on my papers.

This sweet line has such lovely patterned papers, stickers and ephemera.  I wanted to really show how fabulous they are.  I used the tab stickers, sentiment stickers, border stickers, etc.  SO sweet.  Like I said, though, the main theme of the challenges at The Paper Funday Challenges is all about PAPER.  We all have lots of great paper to use.  Or at least I sure know that I do.  The layers of paper are so fun.

If you have any questions about what I used on my card, just let me know.  I think pretty much everything is Simple Stories Oh Baby with the exception of the frame die-cut (white) I used.  I can't for the life of me remember what company makes this frame set because this set isn't in its original packaging.  My die-cut storage situation is a MESS.  Anyway....that's another story altogether.  Miscellaneous items used include a Tim Holtz rusty mini paper clip, some Vintage Street Market vintage scotch tape and a bit of machine stitching.

The Neglected Stuff Challenge:  June: Use Neglected Stuff - As I mentioned above, I pulled out these patterned papers (Simply Stories Oh Baby) from my stash.  I know they've been in my stash for well over five (5) years!  (released in 2018) I have all the stickers, ephemera, papers, etc. from this darling line. This card uses up LOTS of neglected stuff.  Now, for the hundreds of other neglected products.  lol
