The weather is finally cooling off here in the deserts of Nevada, and Autumn is in the air. I know that back home in Minnesota, the leaves are changing colors, and the football games are starting at Public School Stadiums near where I grew up. Lucky for me, I'll be taking a trip to visit Mom and Dad next month so that I can experience some of my favorite season in Minnesota. And being with Mom and Dad is always a blessing. The card I'm sharing today uses stamps, dies and products from Stamp Simply to help me celebrate some of the wonderful elements of Autumn.I started with basic black cardstock that I layered with cream cardstock. On the cream cardstock, I stamped the words found in the Boho Pumpkins Stamp Set. I sprayed that piece with Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist. I machine stitched my papers together. This includes the piece of patterned paper/journalling square found in the Welcome Autumn Carta Bella 6x6 Paper Pad.Finally, I stamped the pumpkin image in Ground Espresso Oxide Ink and painted it with oxide inks once again using the fabulous Boho Pumpkins Stamp Set. I cut this image using the coordinating Boho Pumpkins Dies. A few small sequins were the finishing touch on my card. There's also another (Give Thanks) sentiment inside my card.
For the inside of my card, I used the Vintage Seed Packet Stamp to create the background, and I cut my Give Thanks sentiment using a Fishtail Banner Die. I wasn't sure if I'd get the inside completed and photographed in time to share today. I had to use the pumpkin image from the outside, and I placed it on the inside so that I could get the photo today. I still have to restamp and add an additional set of pumpkins using the Boho Pumpkins Stamp Set. But I don't mind, I love using these sweet stamps.
You can find lots of great inspiration on the new Stamp Simply Blog, and lots of great specials and up-to-date information.
