It's hard to believe that Easter is drawing near. I recently returned from visiting my parents in Minnesota, and there's at least four feet of snow at their house. I'm not exaggerating, either. I have the photos to prove it. With all the shovelling and snow-blowing that was going on, it's hard to imagine that Spring, and Easter, are just around the corner. Stamp Simply always has the perfect stamps, dies and products to help you make the perfect Easter cards or cards for any occasion. This card has black and cream cardstocks at the base. That's layered with a piece of fun marbled green patterned paper from the Craft Consortium's Grunge Festive Tones 6x6 Paper Pad. I machine stitched the papers together and added a piece of old dictionary paper to the center. I separated the two sections of paper by adding some pretty .5" Katarina Venice Ivory Lace.I used the Floral Cluster Fall Flowers Stamp Set to stamp my floral image. I colored it using Copic markers, and I cut it (along with the greenery) using the coordinating Floral Cluster & Sprigs Dies. The sentiment I used can be found in the Salvation Stamp Set; and it was stamped on a 7Gypsies grungy tag from my stash. The sprigs are just tucked in there for texture. It's a very simple card.Be sure to stop by the Stamp Simply Blog for up-to-date information about special sales and promotions and to find lots of great inspiration. Thanks so much for stopping by to say hello. I'm always delighted to have you visit me.
