Sweet Christmas Kraft Envelope w/CutCardStock

Welcome by again for another visit, sweet friends.  I'm so grateful to have you stop here to take a quick little peek at this FUN project I created for CutCardStock.  This one was a lot of fun to make, and I really hope that you'll consider giving it a try. You can find everything you need to get started by visiting CutCardStock where they carry most amazing cardstocks and many other fun products.  I say this pretty much every single time I post for CutCardStock; but it's so true....these are the most amazing quality cardstocks I've ever encountered.  They truly make a very big difference in the feel, the look and the quality of my cards and projects.
This project started with one Greengrocer's Brown Bag Kraft String & Button Envelope.  These sweet kraft envelopes are a lot of fun and can be used in many different ways.  For today's project, I used just one kraft envelope that I folded it in half and then got busy decorating.  You can view more of my process by visiting the CutCardStock Blog.  I cut several pieces of DCS Natural Twine Kraft 5x7 Cardstock that I used to cover the front and inside pages.  This Natural Twine Cardstock matches the Greengrocer's Brown Bag Kraft String & Button Envelopes really nicely.  I cut several pieces of pretty patterned papers (Crate Paper - Bundled Up line) that I machine stitched and inked on the edges.  This is the process I used to cover all the pages (front and inside).
Once all the patterned papers were in place, I added small embellishments to create a fun little Christmas envelope card for gift-giving.  After you unwind the String & Button enclosure on the front pocket, you reveal the tiny album that I tucked away inside.  The seam binding ribbon enclosures on the main project (red) were attached by placing small pieces of adhesive underneath the Natural Twine Cardstock.  The ribbons hang over and create a sweet enclosure that allows you to tie shut your project.  This is such a lovely touch!  I did the very same thing with cream seam binding on the inner tiny album.  How sweet is that?
The inner tiny album (above) was created using a Habanero Red Mini Note Card.  I used the same process by covering the pages with DCS Natural Twine Kraft 5x7 Cardstock and more of the machine stitched patterned paper pieces.  Each page showcases different embellishments.  Of course, I had to include a few coffee related images because my go-to-gift for so many of my friends is a Starbucks gift card.  For that reason, I also tucked in a Starbucks gift card.  The small cream tags were each cut using pieces of Premium Cougar White Cardstock.
On the inside left of the larger album, I attached a chipboard snowman (Crate Paper Bundled Up) and a Christmas wish list.  I just how the Kraft Envelopes peeks through on the side.  And finally, on the inside right page, I added a sweet wreath, bow and sentiment as well as several stamped background words from Creative Worship Stamps.
I believe I've mentioned everything I used, but feel free to ask any questions you might have.  Also, like I said, there's more information on the CutCardStock Blog. Thank you so much for taking the time to visit me here today, for taking a look, and for your comments.

Blessings,
Karen
