Celebrate America w/Stamp Simply

At Stamp Simply Clear Stamps, we all love to celebrate America.  And Stamp Simply carries so many fabulous Patriotic Stamps, Dies & Pattern Papers to help you get started in making some truly fabulous cards and projects.  You can find lovely stamps and dies in most every category imaginable.  I can't ever remember a time when Stamp Simply didn't provide me with the proper sentiments, images and all I need to make a perfect card for the occasion.  They really cover a bit (or more than a bit) of everything, and I believe you'll really LOVE their wonderful stamps.
This little patriotic folio started with a music patterned paper.  I used a piece of 6x8 (not from Stamp Simply) because of the size.  You simply score the paper down the center and fold it in half.  Next, you turn it print side/front side down and fold about 2.5" upward to create the pockets.  You snip a piece of the corner folds diagonally which creates your pockets.  I added some Natural Crochet Lace (similar to this) on the edges of each pocket.  I also stamped on the pockets.  The sentiment is stamped using the Blessings & Beatitudes 1 Stamp Set onto a small piece cut using a Fishtail Banner Die.
All the patterned papers I used on this little folio are found in the Echo Park Stars & Stripes 6x6 Paper Pad.  On the cover, you'll see stars cut from this pretty patterned paper.  You'll also notice the gorgeous eagle which is found in the awesome American Eagle Stamp Set.  I used the coordinating American Eagle Dies to cut both eagles (yes, there's one on the inside as well).  The sentiment on front is also found in the American Eagle Stamp Set.  On the inside, I also added the US image using the Old Glory Stamp Set and Old Glory Dies.
There's a gift card in the pocket as well as a quick little bookmark.  I used the Patriotic Background Stamp on the background of the bookmark, and then I stamped my sentiment onto it.  You'll also see the border I added which was cut using the Tim Holtz Crochet Border Dies.  Be sure to visit the Stamp Simply Blog for lots of great inspiration.  It's always a treat to have you visit me and say hello.

Patriotic Gift Card Holders w/Stamp Simply

Sometimes it's nice to take a break from creating cards and just create something else.  I thought making some patriotic gift card holders would be a good idea.  I like leaving little notes around the house for my Dad (he's 92 now, and a retired USAF Lt. Colonel) to let him know how much I appreciate him and the years he gave to serving our country.  He's my patriotic hero, and these little note cards are just the right way to let him know just how much we all appreciate him.  Who are the patriotic heroes in your life?  I'll bet they'd love to find a little note like this, and Stamp Simply can help you create them.
I used some Habanero Red 3x3 Folded Cards for the base of each note card.  I used the Sizzix Snowfall Speckles Embossing Folder on the layer of white cardstock that I placed on the front of each note card.  To decorate the front of each note card, I used the American Eagle Stamp Set for the eagle and striped stars.  I cut them using the coordinating American Eagle Dies.  My sentiments are also found in the American Eagle Stamp Set.  I cut the sentiments using the Fishtail Banner Dies.
I used the Patriotic Sentiments Stamp Set for the three solid stars that I attached to the front of the note card holder and on the inside.  I added another sentiment strip using the Fishtail Banner Dies where I stamped to:/from:_____ on the inside using the Farmhouse Christmas Stamp Set.  The right side of the inside is just a piece of machine-stitched pattern paper and a journalling card from the Echo Park Stars & Stripes Forever 6x6 Paper Pad.
Under the journalling spot, I added a piece of May Arts White Crochet Lace, and a length of Blue Gingham Ribbon ties closed each little note card.  There's also a tiny glassine bag underneath the journalling spot where I tucked in a mini Starbucks gift card.  Stamp Simply carries everything you'll need to create sweet cards and meaningful notes to share with those you love.
Whatever you're looking for in the way of Patriot Stamp Sets, Get Well/Sympathy Stamps, Christmas Stamps or any category; you're sure to find a wonderful selection at Stamp Simply.  Thanks so much for visiting me here today and please stop by again soon.

American Pride w/Stamp Simply

I don't know about you, but I'm sure proud to be an American.  So many brave men and women have fought, and even died, to secure the rights and freedoms we enjoy today.  We can't ever take for granted the high price that was paid for all those rights and freedoms; and it's also important to thank our Veterans and to thank God for how He has blessed our great country.  At Stamp Simply, there are so many great patriotic stamps and dies to help you create cards and projects that will let people know how much you love the United States of America.
I used kraft cardstock and some patterned papers from the Carta Bella Fourth of July 6x6 Paper Pad.  Once I secured all my patterned papers, I attached a length of .5" Katrina Venice Ivory Lace to my card.  I stamped two of the stars from the American Eagle Stamp Set and cut them with the coordinating American Eagle Dies.  The sentiment I used is found in the Red, White and Blue Stamp Set.  It's stamped onto a banner from the Fishtail Banner Dies.
I cut two more (smaller) stars using the Old Glory Stars & Stripes Dies and stamped on them with the star from the American Eagle Stamp Set.  All the stamps and dies at Stamp Simply complement one another so nicely and also work well on their own.  If you have any questions about anything I used on my card, please feel free to ask.  You really will LOVE Stamp Simply and their awesome products.

Celebrate Patriotism w/Stamp Simply

Like so many of you, I'm proud and grateful American who is super appreciative of all the brave men and women who have served our beautiful country in all branches of the Armed Forces.  It means something extra special to me because I'm what some folks refer to as an "Air Force Brat".  Dad is a (Retired) Lt. Col. in the Air Force; and at the age of 89, he is still flying.  This picture was taken not too long ago as he was preparing to go flying for a Search & Rescue mission.  Dad is a pilot, an amazing husband, an awesome Dad, a faithful servant of Christ Jesus, and a true American patriot among other things.
Personally, I think Dad's still lookin' pretty "fly" in his flying suit.  He's an amazing man and I'm proud to call him Dad.  I created this card for him as a thank you for his dedicated service to our country as well as to our family.  I used white watercolor paper for both layers.  On the top layer, I used oxide inks to paint a background and to stamp the sentiments found in another awesome new set from Stamp Simply.  The Pledge of Allegiance and the word PATRIOTISM are both found in the new Pledge of Allegiance Stamp Set.  Stamp Simply has several amazing stamp sets (well, for every occasion) that are patriotic in nature.  You're always sure to find the perfect stamps for every occasion here.
Once I'd created that fun background, I stamped the two stars using the new American Eagle Stamp Set and cut them with the coordinating American Eagle Die Cuts.  I thought about using another sentiment on my card, but I thought it would look too busy.  Instead, I used some pretty Blue Seam Binding and ran it across my card and tied a sweet double bow with it.  I added a small Fishtail Banner Die cut from the Echo Park 4th of July 6x6 Paper Pad.  I also used the Stars & Stripes/Old Glory Dies to cut some glittered red stars that I placed randomly about the card to add a pop of color.
I hope you've been visiting the Stamp Simply Blog to see all the awesome inspiration from our talented Design Team using the new American Eagle Stamp Set and the new Pledge of Allegiance Stamp Set.  There are some truly amazing cards being shared this week that will inspire you and give you some really great ideas for patriotic cards.  In fact, Stamp Simply has a wide variety of amazing stamps for every occasion you can imagine, including several cool patriotic sets.
Thanks so much for stopping by today.  Please let me know if you have any questions about my card or any of the wonderful products from Stamp Simply.  If you know someone who has served in our military forces, I'm sure they'd greatly appreciate a card telling them how grateful you are for their service.  Have a wonderful week, everyone.

America: Land That I Love w/Stamp Simply (New Release)

When it comes to celebrating the true American heroes in our great country, Stamp Simply Clear Stamps carries the very best selection of stamps and dies to help us create cards that will truly tell these amazing people just how much we love and appreciate them and their service to our beautiful country, the United States of America.  In fact, Stamp Simply has all the perfect stamps and dies to help us show our unspeakable appreciation for every amazing person who blesses our lives.  And as of today, there's a FABULOUS NEW RELEASE available on sale at Stamp Simply, and you can save on this awesome new Patriotic bundle.
The cards I'm sharing today showcase the brand-new release called American Eagle Stamp Set and coordinating American Eagle Dies from Stamp Simply.  For this first card, I started with a piece of beautiful patterned paper from the Echo Park Let Freedom Ring 6x6 Paper Pad as the base.  The next layer of my card base is a piece of (the flat backside of) kraft corrugated cardboard onto which I stamped the image of our great country, America, in White Ink using the awesome Old Glory Stamp Set.  I also painted some splotches of white paint onto the card to add white accents.
I used the AWESOME new American Eagle Stamp Set to stamp the cool stars, and I cut them out using the new coordinating American Eagle Dies.  I carefully used Denim Jeans Oxide Ink and Barndoor Red Oxide Inks to stamp the flags.  I placed the three stars over the USA image.  The two sentiments I stamped are also found in the new American Eagle Stamp Set, and I stamped them using Versafine Black Ink to make them stand out nicely.  A few red sequins and a bow tied with 1/4" Red Chevron Twill were the finishing touches on this lovely patriotic card.
My second card uses a stormy blue cardstock and a piece of white watercolor paper that I painted with oxide inks to create a fun background.  I stamped and colored the star and eagle using the new American Eagle Stamp Set and coordinating American Eagle Die Set.  I placed them at the top of the card as the main focal point.  They are amazing images, and this beautiful patriotic stamp set is so eye-catching.
The sentiments AMERICA and Land That I Love are both also found in the new American Eagle Stamp Set.  I stamped them onto a banner cut using the awesome Fishtail Banners Die-Cut set.  The patterned paper underneath the image is from the Echo Park Let Freedom Ring 6x6 Paper Pad.  I also added a length of .5" Katrina Venice Lace across the bottom on my card.  It's so pretty, and it's just one of many gorgeous trims you'll find at Stamp Simply.  A few white sequins were the finishing touch.
What's your favorite part of the New Release American Eagle Stamp Set?  What would you create with this awesome new set, and what other Stamp Simply sets would you combine with it?  Leave me a comment letting me know your thoughts, and I'll have a special prize for one person who comments on this New Release.
Please feel free to ask me if you have any questions at all about what I used on these sweet cards.  We're always grateful to have you shop at Stamp Simply for great stamps, dies and more.  There's also loads of great inspiration every day on the Stamp Simply Blog.  We look forward to having you visit us for all your crafting needs and inspiration.  Have a blessed and super creative week, everyone.
