LOVE JOY PEACE w/Stamp Simply

Today I'm up on the Stamp Simply Blog sharing a sweet Christmas card that uses just a few of my favorite products from Stamp Simply.  It's always fun to pull out these sweet stamps and try to find new and creative ways to use them.  The Vintage Christmas Background Stamp is one of my most favorite Stamp Simply products of all time.  It's a Christmas must-have and it makes such super sweet backgrounds.
I used black cardstock for the base that I layered with patterned papers from Craft Consortium Beach Hut 6x6 Paper Pad (green) and Carta Bella Christmas 6x6 Paper Pad.  I machine stitched my papers together.  The top layer was stamped using the gorgeous Vintage Christmas Background Stamp.  I used the coordinating Oval & Twigs Dies to cut the center oval.  I used a cardboard packaging scrap to cut the center oval and to stamp and cut the trees.  I like to repurpose cute things whenever possible.
The trees and the sentiment are found in the O Christmas Tree Stamp Set and I cut the trees with the O Christmas Tree Dies.  The sentiment was cut using the Fishtail Banner Dies and was placed at the bottom of the oval.  The trees have some 3-D Foam Tabs underneath to raise them and give them various dimensions.  I thought about a Seam Binding bow but decided against it this time.  The pretty paper layers are the star of this card.
Stamp Simply has so many gorgeous stamps, dies and crafting products to help you create fabulous cards.  You'll also find lots of great inspiration every day on the Stamp Simply Blog so don't miss any of the excitement, creativity and fun.  Thank you so much for visiting me here today and for leaving me your thoughts on today's card.  There's also a Christmas in July SALE this week that you'll want to take a look at, friends.  Happy crafting.
I'm sharing my Christmas card in this exciting event:

Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog - Simon Says "Add Some Text" - The text paper I used in my opening and to stamp the trees is a piece of cardboard packaging from and old Crate Paper embellishment set.  I love the text so much that I just had to repurpose it.

Build Your Stash Holiday Cardmakers' Christmas in July Linky Party - This is my first (and may possibly be my only) entry.  I'm headed North to help care for my parents.  Bummed I won't be able to really play along in this special event.

It's always fun to celebrate a little Christmas in July.  I'm getting a head start on my Christmas cards by playing along with my creative friends over at the Build Your Stash Holiday Cardmakers' Christmas in July Linky Party.  There's lots of great inspiration and loads of great fun waiting for everyone, so come play along.  This card uses some fabulous stamps and dies from Stamp Simply.
At Stamp Simply, you'll find lots of great Christmas Stamps and Dies to help you get started on your Christmas cards.  Stamp Simply also carries the loveliest stamps including scripture sets, wonderful and encouraging sentiments, lots of great images, and all the crafting supplies you can possibly need.  They have a bit of it all.  Here are the Adhesives I used on this card.
I used black cardstock layered with white watercolor paper that I cut with Spellbinders Rectangle Dies.  Next, I added a touch of water to the paper and painted it using Concord Grape and Lavendar Tim Holtz Oxide Inks.  I also splattered the background with Black Soot Distress Spray and cream acrylic paint.  The sentiment was stamped using the Vintage Christmas Images Stamp Set.  The ornaments were stamped using the c and were cut using the Christmas Joy Ornaments Dies.  I tied the ornaments with Gold Metallic String.
It would be wonderful to have you come play along in the Build Your Stash Holiday Cardmakers' Christmas in July Linky Party.  Also, be sure to visit Stamp Simply for all your stamping needs.  We love having you visit us, and we trust that you'll find many things that you LOVE at Stamp Simply.  Have a great day, everyone.  Thanks for visiting me.

Farmhouse Christmas w/Stamp Simply

It's time for Christmas in July; and all week at Stamp Simply, each member of our talented Design Team will take a day to share a card/project using just ONE Winter/Christmas set from Stamp Simply to show you all just how SIMPLE it is to create beautiful cards and projects when you're stamping and creating with the fantastic stamps from Stamp Simply.  This card and tag set was created using just ONE set from Stamp Simply.
I used black cardstock for the base of my card.  I layered it with patterned papers found in the Carta Bella Winter Time 6x6 Paper Pad.  I also added a length of pretty White Crochet Lace across my card for texture.  That ONE stamp set I chose to showcase today is the AWESOME Farmhouse Christmas Stamp Set.  I absolutely LOVE this sweet stamp set because it is SO super versatile.  As you can see, it helped me create a quick and easy card plus two quick and easy Christmas gift tags.
The sweet papers and journalling cards found in the Carta Bella Winter Time 6x6 Paper Pad made it easy to create my card and my tags.  I love all the sweet images found in the Farmhouse Christmas Stamp Set including the country Christmas trees I stamped for this card.  The sentiment is also found in the same set - again showing you multiple ways to use this fantastic set.
Super easy tags to create using the to: from: sentiments again using the Farmhouse Christmas Stamp Set.  I simply punched a hole and added some Burlap String to the top of each tag.  You can't get any easier than that.  All of the Carta Bella Paper Pads have these fantastic journalling cards to help you create quick and easy gift tags.
Everything you see on my card and tags can be found at Stamp Simply.  The only exception is the Tim Holtz mini paper clip.  The whole point of today's post (and all week at Stamp Simply) is to demonstrate just how versatile each stamp set from Stamp Simply truly is, and how many different ways each set can be used SO creatively.  Be sure to visit the Stamp Simply Blog often for lots of great inspiration.  Thanks so much for visiting me today.

Merry Christmas w/Creative Worship Stamps

The fun continues over at BYSHC Christmas in July Linky Party.  I'm sharing another fun Christmas card today that showcases some of the fabulous NEW Release from a sponsor of this special event, Creative Worship Stamps.  This is a great time to get a head start on your Christmas cards and come join the fun for a chance to win some really great prizes.  I'm sure crossing my fingers and saying a prayer or two.
I just kraft cardstocks layered with some really old patterned papers from my stash.  One is Echo Park and the other (red words) is from October Afternoon.  I machine stitched them together.  I also cut several rows of borders using the Scallop Border Dies and a piece of lace.  I cut three wreaths using the NEW Lovely Wreaths Dies.  I used the NEW Thoughtful Wreaths Stamp Set to stamp the lovely sentiment.  I cut the sentiment using the Thoughtful Wreaths Dies.  I raised up the sentiment just a bit using 3-D White Foam Tabs.
I added some Solid Ivory Baker's Twine and some red berries to my wreath.  I stamped two little sets of holly leaves in brown ink using the Thoughtful Wreaths Stamp Set.  I cut them using the Thoughtful Wreaths Dies, and I tucked them in to the little bow.  This new Thoughtful Wreaths Stamp Set has so many awesome sentiments and images.  This amazing and versatile set can be used all year round, including Christmas and for every other occasion.  It's absolutely an awesome new set.
Underneath the sentiment as well as at the bottom left of my card and upper right, I added an accent cut from light kraft cardstock using the fun Tabs Tickets & More Dies.  This is another really FUN die-cut set for adding tabs and accents to your cards and projects.  Creative Stamps products make it SO EASY to create adorable cards.  Come by Creative Worship Stamps to look around at all that awaits you.

I'm sharing this card in the following:

BYSHC Christmas in July Linky Party - Anything Goes Christmas - I'm using products from sponsor, Creative Worship Stamps.

Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge - Simon Says "Stitch It" and I machine stitched the edges of this card.

TIME OUT Challenge - Challenge #293 - Inspired by Your Favorite Song - My favorite Christmas song, since this is a Christmas card, is Merry Christmas (the version by Ed Sheeran and Elton John) to be specific.

Happy card making, friends.

Blessings,
Karen
