Pure Joy w/Creative Worship

It's truly a blessing to be on the Design Teams I'm on currently, and I praise God for these amazing opportunities I've been given to create with wonderful products I love.  Being on the Creative Worship Stamps Design Team is such a blessing, and I'm so grateful (and humbled) to be on this team with such creative artists.  They inspire me so much.  You all do.  One can only hope that their own creations inspire others.  Today I'm sharing another card that showcases what we're focussing on this month at Creative Worship Stamps which is....Big Blooms and Alphabet Stamps.
This card starts with black cardstock layered with white cardstock.  The third layer is also basic white cardstock that I smooshed with alcohol ink.  I stamped the background of tinhe card using the Going Postal Stamp Set, Vintage Postage Stamp Set and Texture Tiles 9 Stamp Sets.  I also added some white acrylic paint using the Mesh Ovals Stencil.  I inked the edges of the card using Black Soot Oxide Ink.  I wanted the card to have a fairly grungy background.
I stamped another image from the Vintage Snippets Stamp Set and cut it with a Stitched Oval Die.  This piece is tucked under my flower.  The flower was stamped twice using the Cosmos Background Stamp Set.  I fussy cut the flowers and layered them.  On the petal of the top flower, I stamped the word JOY using the Mini Grunge Stamp Set.  That petal is raised up with 3-D Foam Tabs.  I attached some Iridescent White String around my card as an accent.
Please let me know if you have any questions about the products I used on this card.  It's always fun to try new techniques, and I really think you'll LOVE all the wonderful Alphabet Stamp Sets available at Creative Worship.  Thanks so much for visiting me here today, and please stop by again soon.  I'm very grateful for you, your visits here, your visits to my Instagram Page, your comments, your inspiration and your friendship.  Have an awesome week.

I'm playing along here:

Die Cuttin' Divas Challenges - April Challenge: Sponsored by Altenew - I used die-cuts for the oval and the flowers.

TIME OUT Challenges - Challenge #311 - I actually picked three from this list which the Blooms, Hope and the Pastel.  While my pastels are bright, they're still in the pastel category.  My Blooms are big.  I incorporated hope by adding the word joy.  I also have some Rain elements in my background.

Blessings,
Karen

Wishing You a Cheery Day

I'm absolutely LOVING the New Release for March at Creative Worship Stamps.  From the fabulous new stamp sets to the two AWESOME new stencils, the creative possibilities are endless.  If you haven't seen the amazing inspirations using this incredible New Release, be sure to pop by the Creative Worship IG Page to check out all these wonderful creations.
I used a teal cardstock base layered with white cardstock that rubbed and smooshed with oxide inks.  I used the fabulously FUN NEW Peace Joy Love Stencil on the background.  In addition, I used some Luxe Paper Glaze from Picket Fence Stamps along with the NEW Messy Blocks Stencil on my background.
You'll also see the lovely NEW Cosmo Background Stamp in the center of my card.  I used the same process for stamping and cutting this flower as I did on my background.  On a small scrap of my inky paper, I stamped the sentiment using the NEW Cheery Birds & Buds Stamp Set.  I fussy cut the sentiment and raised it up using 3-D Foam Tabs.
I've also shared this card on my Instagram Page and I'd LOVE to have you stop by and Like/Follow for me.  I'm still attempting to grow my IG social media and it's not easy.  I appreciate every Follower, every comment, and all the input.  I hope you're having a creative week, and please know that Creative Worship Stamps really has some incredibly wonderful products waiting for you.  Thanks for visiting.

I'm playing along in the following:

Stencil Fun Challenge - March: Anything Goes w/Stencil - I used TWO new stencils on this card.  I also used the optional twist for this challenge which is SPLATTERS.

Paper Funday Challenge - Challenge #74 March: Anything Goes/Optional Weather Related

Creative Worship Birds & Blooms IG Hop

Are you ready for an awesome Instagram Hop where you'll have the chance to WIN a $25 gift card to spend at Creative Worship Stamps.  Well, if you're interested, please pop on over to the Creative Worship Stamps IG Page to get started on the hop.  You can also find the link on My Instagram Page if you get lost.  There's a FABULOUS NEW RELEASE at Creative Worship with stellar new products that you will LOVE along with loads of great inspiration in this IG Hop.
I used the awesome NEW Cosmos Background Stamp Set to create the lovely flower which I stamped, painted and cut twice to do some layering of the petals.  I used some pink embossing powder in the center along with several pink and green floral prills for added texture.  The Hickory Smoke ink stamped background (on the first white layer) uses one of the (3) new backgrounds found in the NEW Mini Marks 2 Stamp Set.
I used the NEW Cheery Birds & Buds Stamp Set for the sentiment, the berry sprigs and the various small leaf clusters that I used to frame the sentiment rectangle.  The outer base of the card (green) was cut using the Scallop Stitched Rectangle Frame Dies as were the inside rectangles (pink and white pieces rectangles).  I used some old Crate Paper Pretty Party patterned papers.
The Cosmos Background Flowers were stamped twice, painted with various colors of ink; including some oxide inks and some alcohol.  The petals were stamped in Ground Espresso Oxide Ink and were hand-cut due to the unfortunate die-cut problem currently facing our favorite companies.  By keeping this situation in prayer, we can trust that it will be resolved as it's meant to be resolved.  We're all a bit impatient, but by turning our frustration into prayers; we can sit back and watch God do what He does best - take care of us and bless us.
It's clear to see that the NEW Cosmo Background Stamp, the new Mini Marks 2 and the new Cheery Birds & Buds Stamp Sets are all going to be new favorites.  They're absolutely awesome!  And I haven't even used the two AWESOME Stencils in this New Release.  I hope you'll join us as the talented Design Team reveals more inspiration using the FAB New Release from Creative Worship Stamps.
When I first put this card together, it looked like what you'll see next.  I had used black cardstock on the first layer, and I cut it with the Scallop Stitched Rectangle Dies.  I used a mauvy pink piece of cardstock on the next layer.  When I saw this finished card (below), it was just way too dark for me.  I knew I wanted to light it up using green and a patterned paper for the pink.
The only other thing that I contemplated then, and that I'm still contemplating right now, is....should I restamped the first white layer and used a matching green ink to stamp the images using the Mini Marks 2 Stamp Set that are currently stamped in Hickory Smoke Ink.  What do you think?
I'm sure not a talented painter, that's for sure!  I have a lot of fun doing it, but I'm not great at it by any means.  This is why I want EVERYONE to know that they can make pretty cards using stamps from Creative Worship.  They're SO SWEET that it becomes easy to create lovely cards, and almost impossible to go wrong.
Thanks so much for visiting me here today.  Don't forget to do the Instagram Hop for your chance to WIN the $25 gift card.  Just head RIGHT HERE NEXT to begin hopping along.  Also, don't forget about the SALE taking place site-wide at Creative Worship.

Dar & Diane's Double D Challenge Blog - Going Green - As you can see, this card was originally made with a black/pink theme.  I didn't like it, so I changed it to GREEN, and I like it SO much better this way.

Blessings,
Karen
