Merry Christmas w/Whimsy Stamps

I love making Christmas cards.  They're probably my most favorite cards (next to coffee cards, perhaps).  At Whimsy Stamps, you can always find lots of great Christmas stamps, dies and products to help you create beautiful Christmas cards.  Well, truth be told, Whimsy Stamps has products for every occasion.  I just happen to especially love all their great Christmas products.  This card combines a few of their fabulous goodies.
I started with basic black cardstock layered with white watercolor cardstock paper.  I also used the watercolor paper to cut the frame using the Spring Ovals Frame Dies.  I inked the edges and splattered the frame with acrylic paints.  The ornaments were first stamped using the Elegant Ornaments Stamp Set.  Once they were stamped, I cut them using the coordinating Elegant Ornaments Die.  You'll notice in the above photo that I also created a matching envelope for the card.
The sweet holly leaves and berries, which I colored with my Copics, were stamped using the Fadoodle Holly Clear Stamp Set and I cut them by hand.  As I look at my photos, I'm wishing I had also inked the outside scallop on my white oval frame.  The sweet sentiment I stamped uses the Elegant Ornaments Stamp Set.  There are various Merry Christmas stamps in this sweet versatile stamp set.
As I mentioned, Whimsy Stamps has SO many amazing stamps, dies, stencils, embossing folders, Confetti Mixes and much more.  You'll find amazing inspiration on all of the Whimsy Stamps social media.  Thanks so much for stopping by my blog today, and please visit (and Follow) me on my Instagram Page.  I always appreciate your visits and comments.

Merry Merry Merry Christmas w/Whimsy Stamps

Who says that Christmas cards need to be red and green?  Certainly not me!  I really enjoy using pink and other unexpected colors.  This pink Christmas card uses a few sweet Christmas products from Whimsy Stamps.  I love the fact that Whimsy Stamps has so many different slimline dies to help me easily create a slimline layout for my cards.
I used basic white cardstock that I rubbed with Spun Sugar, Kitsch and Festive Raspberry Oxide Inks to create my hombre background.  I cut the card using the Slimline Scallop Die.  Don't you LOVE those sweet scalloped inserts?  I used the gorgeous Elegant Ornaments Stamp Set to stamp the sentiments (merry merry and Merry Christmas) as well as the ornaments and the garland.  There are actually four (4) lovely ornaments in this sweet stamp set, but I used just two.
The ornaments are SO pretty!  I rubbed my white cardstock with oxide ink and then stamped them.  I used the coordinating Elegant Ornaments Die to cut them.  As I mentioned, this beautiful Elegant Ornaments Stamp Set contains so many lovely images that I didn't use on this card.  It's so versatile and could be done up in any colors you choose.  So, you could create a fun card like this, or a more elegant style Christmas card using this set.
All around my card, and even on my card, you'll see a sparkly Confetti Mix called Glazed Candy.  Yum!  You can always find a Confetti Mix that's perfect for every project.  They add so much pizzazz to your cards, and/or you can use them as a photo prop for a touch of color.  Thanks so much for stopping by today, and please visit (and FOLLOW) my Instagram Page.  I'd really appreciate it.
