Stamp Simply Sponsors Fall/Winter Coffee Hop

Welcome, everyone!  I hope that by now you've been to the Coffee Loving Cardmakers' Fall/Winter Coffee Blog Hop and Linky Party to share some of your caffeinated Christmas cards.  Stamp Simply is proud to be a long-time sponsor of this special event.  Stamp Simply carries a nice variety of coffee, tea and beverage related stamps and dies.  The card I'm sharing with you today combines several of their fun products.  They're offering one lucky participant a $25 credit to their fabulous store.

I used red and kraft cardstocks for my card base, and I layered them with some pretty patterned papers from the Bundled Up line by Crate Paper.  I have an excess of Crate Paper products, and I do love to use them whenever possible.  Of course, my card could easily be re-created using any of the pretty 6x6 Paper Pads available at Stamp Simply.  Once all my patterned papers were in place, I used some ephemera (stickers, ticket, candy cane, candies, etc.) from the Bundled Up line to add some color and fun.  The coffee beans and the small sentiments that I stamped on the coffee mugs (just for you/enjoy) are found in the Coffee or Tea Stamp Set.  The small coffee beans that I stamped here and there are found in the A Cup of Java Stamp Set.

Merry Christmas was stamped using Typewritten Year-Round Greetings Stamp Set.  The coffee mugs are found in the Have a Cup on Us Stamp Set.  I stamped them onto scraps of the patterned papers and cut them with the Have a Cup on Us Dies.  I used Black Graphite Ink to stamp all the images and sentiments.  Some 3-D Foam Tabs raised up a few of the pieces.

A Hug in a Cup w/Stamp Simply

Hello, and welcome by today!  As I've mentioned before, Stamp Simply is a long-time supporter of the Coffee Lovers' Blog Hops, and they're sponsoring this special event once again.  You can stop by the Coffee Loving Papercrafters' Blog for all the details on this FUN Blog Hop.  I created a card for Stamp Simply using several of their awesome products.

Where to begin!?!?  I used a kraft card/envelope layered with brown cardstock and then cream cardstock that I stamped using words from the Boho Fall Leaves Stamp Set and the Boho Pumpkins Stamp Set.  I sprayed the background with Corduroy Ink.  Next, I cut a vellum square using the Praying Hands Dies.  I cut some leaves using the Sizzix Thinlets Fragmented Leaves Dies.

I stamped the gorgeous pumpkin using the Welcome Fall Stamp Set and cut it using the coordinating Welcome Fall Pumpkin Die.  I tucked some Natural Jute underneath the pumpkin.  I cut the coffee mugs using the Have a Cup On Us Dies, and I stamped on the smaller cup using a sentiment found in the Coffee or Tea Stamp Set.  I also used the new Coffee or Tea 6x6 Paper Pad to back my taller coffee cup, but you can't it at all.

Christmas Cocoa

To be perfectly honest, I had no intention of making any more coffee or hot beverage cards.  I was, in fact, quite pleased with myself for making all the coffee cards I did.  I'm not absolutely certain, but I think I've linked up about 12 cards already.  Well, I was fine with that.  But then this morning, I saw a post on Facebook from my crafty friend, Darlene, who runs the Double D Challenge Blog with her friend, Diane.  When I saw that their theme was hot Christmas beverages, I decided to make just one more.  Just one, right?

I used some pretty patterned papers from Stamp Simply and I machine-stitched the holly berries and holly leaves with gold thread.  The cute little circle sticker is from Crate Paper.  The stamped images and sentiment are from my stash.  I pull them out once a year because I love the marshmallows and candy canes.

Some Chunky Black & White Gingham Ribbon was the finishing touch to this card.  I'm sharing my Christmas Cocoa card in the challenges listed below.  I hope that you are also having FUN playing along in some challenges this week.  I know I'd sure love to see your art linked up at Word Art Wednesday where our current sponsor is the amazing DRS Stamps.

You Had Me at Coffee

Welcome by again today, crafty coffee lovers.  I've been having fun making some coffee cards.  It actually feels good to play along in a few challenges.  I just haven't had the time or interest lately to do anything other than create my DT cards, so this is a welcome push to get crafty again.  I'm sharing three coffee cards in this post but entering only one of them through this blog post.  The other two will be entered by sharing them (also) on Instagram.

The first card I'm sharing (above) here uses a Taylored Expressions Frame Die and also a Crimped Frame Die from The Greetery.  The sentiment and the coffee cups are from Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps.  The finishing touch was a length of Solid Red Baker's Twine and a rusty paperclip.

My second card here uses the Crimped Frame Dies from The Greetery, a sentiment from Paper Sweeties, some Echo Park patterned papers, and a coffee die-cut from Taylored Expressions.  The finishing touch on this card was a length of Solid Red Baker's Twine.

The third card I'm sharing (above) again uses the Crimped Frame Dies from The Greetery, some old October Afternoon patterned papers and journalling sticker, a Paper Sweeties coffee mug die, a cookie die from The Greetery, a chenille candy cane, some bundled Ivory Burlap String, and a hand-made felt flower.  The sentiments are (all) also from Paper Sweeties.  That's pretty much everything, but just let me know if you have any questions.

May Your Cup Overflow

Hello again to all my crafty coffee-loving blog friends!  Thanks for stopping by again today.  I hope you've had a chance to check out the Fall/Winter Coffee Loving Cardmakers' Blog Hop.  There are LOTS of great sponsor prizes and sales taking place during this special event.  One of those wonderful sponsors is Stamp Simply Clear Stamps.  They're offering a $25 gift certificate to their AWESOME Store and they're also having a 15% OFF SALE this week.

This card was created using black cardstock and a pretty plaid patterned paper from the Memory Box Woodsy Plaid 6x6 Paper Pad.  Once I had all that in place, I took a piece of white cardstock and rubbed it with Green Grass Oxide Ink and ran it through my Cuttlebug using a Tim Holtz Embossing Folder to give it some cool texture.

I stamped the sentiment and coffee cups using the Have A Cup On Us Stamp Set.  I also used the Christmas Blessings Stamp Set to stamp the holly and ivy images onto the coffee cups.  I colored them with my Copic markers.  The sentiment strip was cut using the Fishtail Banners Die-Cuts and was also pressure embossed and inked.

I ran a length of pretty Katarina Ivory Lace and Grey Seam Binding across my card and tied a bow with it.  I topped that with some Baker's Twine and rusty jingle bells.  Up on the sentiment banner, I also added another berry cluster that was stamped using, once again, the awesome Christmas Blessings Stamp Set.  There are so many great stamps, dies and products at Stamp Simply.

It's no secret that I'm a coffee lover.  I also enjoy making coffee cards; especially when I have super cute coffee products like these ones from Paper Sweeties.  I wasn't really planning on participating in the Coffee Blog Hops any more.  But since I'm sharing on behalf of Paper Sweeties and another Design Team I'm on that's sponsoring, I decided to put my feet back in the water (so to speak).  Coffee cards are always so FUN to make, and I always love a good excuse to pull out these sweet stamps.  There are LOTS of great prizes, as always, so come play along.  Hey, if I can find the time to make a few cards, you can do it too.

I used white cardstock and some pretty Crate Paper (Bundled Up) patterned papers.  The Paper Sweeties products I used include the For You Sweet Cuts (large tag), the Stitched Tags #1 Sweet Cuts (small tag), the Stamp Set and Sweet Cuts (coffee mug, snowflake and candy canes), the Stamp Set (sentiment #coffee), and some cute Sequins.  I added some Pink Baker's Twine to the tags.

There's absolutely nothing fancy or tricky about this card.  It's super simple, but it shows you just how CUTE Paper Sweeties products are.  And here's some exciting news.  Paper Sweeties is offering a FUN Coffee-themed Prize valued at $25 as well as a SALE where you can save 25% off all in-stock coffee-themed products.

More Coffee, Please

I don't know about you, but I can never get enough coffee.  Whether it's a fancy latte the way I like it, a plain cup of black coffee, or a shot of espresso, I love it ALL.  This card combines several different elements from various craft companies I love.  And...it's all about the COFFEE.

I used black cardstock, a Carta Bella patterned paper purchased from Stamp Simply, a piece of corrugated cardboard, and white watercolor paper.  I inked up the white paper with Corduroy Oxide Ink and then stamped the messy background using a set from Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps.

The ribbon is May Arts from Really Reasonable Ribbon, the sentiment is from Paper Sweeties, and the Doodlebug Doodle Pop Stickers were purchased from Paper Sweeties.  That's about it....really simple.  But it sure is making me crave another cup of coffee.  LOL

Double D Challenge Blog - Thankful, Grateful, Blessed - I am SO thankful, grateful and blessed by every good thing God has given me.  And YES, that includes my COFFEE.  I was inspired on this one by the coffee cup (bottom right corner of inspiration photo) for its colors, things inside the cup, and the warmth it brings.

Celebrating Coffee Day w/Stamp Simply

We all love coffee, right?  Well, at Stamp Simply Clear Stamps, we LOVE coffee and we're celebrating along with our friends at the Coffee Loving Cardmakers' Blog for National (and International) Coffee Day.  What could be better?  To celebrate the Coffee Loving Cardmakers Blog Hop, Stamp Simply is having a BIG SALE on ALL their coffee-related products.

My card starts with a basic black cardstock.  I attached a piece of patterned paper from the Carta Bella Happy Christmas 6x6b Paper Pad and I machine stitched the papers together.  I also used a piece of woodgrain paper from the Craft Consortium's Wood Textures 6x6 Paper Pad and I ran that through my BIGkick using a Tim Holtz Lumber Embossing Folder.

I used the coffee set called Have a Cup on Us Stamp Set for the latte cup.  I cut it using the coordinating Have a Cup on Us Dies.  Then, I used the Christmas Stockings & Mittens Stamp Set to stamp the sentiment and the mittens and I cut them using the coordinating Christmas Stockings & Mittens Dies.  The snowflake die-cut is also found in the Christmas Stockings & Mittens Dies.

I also added a length of Solid Ivory Baker's Twine to the mittens, and I ran a length of Grey Seam Binding up the right-hand side of my card and tied a pretty with bow it at the top.  There's lots of great ribbon, lace and papers at Stamp Simply in addition to all their wonderful stamps.  Be sure to stop by the Stamp Simply Blog for your chance to win a $25 Gift Certificate to Stamp Simply.

Paper Sweeties & Coffee Lovers Hop

The card I'm sharing today was creating several awesome products from Paper Sweeties.  I started with a cardstock base and added some sweet Doodlebug patterned papers that I machine stitched together.  Next, I attached the darling coffee mug which is a Doodlebug DoodlePop.  I also added some Orange Creamsicle Seam Binding that I ran across the card and used along with a length of "dirtied" Sugar Sprinkles Seam Binding to make my pretty bow.

The sentiment (But First....Coffee) is a cute little piece of the Doodlebug Ephemera.  The cute little hearts are also DoodlePops.  I added a piece of the cute Doodlebug Coffee Washi Tape and some Tim Holtz metal hardware.  You'll also see that I used some of the cute Doodlebug Patterned Paper to cut some scalloped borders using the Sweet Borders Sweet Cuts just above my coffee-stained doily.  By the way, I'm having a little give-away to celebrate this Coffee Blog Hop.  Just "Follow" my blog and leave me a comment.  I will draw one name from those comments (on this post) and that person will win a coffee-themed Doodlebug DoodlePop from Paper Sweeties.

Make The Cards Challenge - Challenge #35 - Country Life/Buffalo Plaid - I combined two things I love which are My Country Life (which involves LOTS of coffee) and Buffalo Plaid.  In this case, I used orange buffalo plaid, but I still love it.  My blog friend, Dottie, suggested I come play along at Make The Cards.

TIME OUT Challenges - Challenge #197 - I was inspired by the quote.  I heard the words "....In Joy or Sadness......Constant Friends".....and for me, that's COFFEE.  My constant friend in joy or sadness.

Hot Chocolate Season w/Really Reasonable Ribbon

Welcome back to my blog, ribbon and coffee lovers alike!  I'm SO glad you're here today as I share a sweet card I created for Really Reasonable Ribbon using a few of my favorite trims.  One of my most favorite trims (among others) are Seam Binding and Baker's Twine.  Today's card has a bit of both of these fabulous trims.  I started with a black cardstock base and attached a cute Christmas plaid patterned paper and a white doily to create my card base.

I ran some Black Seam Binding and Lipstick Red Seam Binding to the bottom of my card, and I also tied a sweet bow using a bit of each.  I also tucked in some Solid Black Baker's Twine and wrapped a length of Solid Red Baker's Twine around the bottom of my card.  I tucked in a bow of these two Baker's Twines near the bundles of Red Berry Bead Clusters, Double Head Stamens and glittered berries.  I also tucked in a Green Mulberry Leaf near some of the berries.

The cupcake, coffee mug with steam, candy sticks and sentiment were stamped and cut using some of my favorite, and quite darling, Paper Sweeties products.  I used lots and lots of Scor-Tape to securely attached everything to my card so that it will stay put.  Scor-Tape is an amazing adhesive that really stands the test of time, and holds your keepsakes together securely.

I also created a sweet little tag to match my card using the same line of patterned papers, stickers, etc.  I stamped my sentiment (#coffee), the coffee mug and peppermint stick using some Paper Sweeties products, and I attached a piece of Cherry Baker's Twine at the top.
