Christmas Joy w/Stamp Simply

Stamp Simply has several brand-new Christmas stamp sets now available for purchase as well as some new Fall/Harvest and year-round stamps that you will LOVE.  Plus, let's not forget about all the other wonderful stamps, dies, and other products that have been around a while, but are still FABULOUS.  I truly love them all and can't get enough of them. The card I'm sharing with you today uses two of the older (also fabulous) stamp sets from Stamp Simply.
I started with tuxedo black cardstock and layered it with yellow paper from the Craft Consortium's lovely Sunset Ink Drops 6x6 Paper Pad.  The top layer is white cardstock that I cut using a Spellbinders Pierced Rectangles Die and dripped with Fossilized Amber Oxide Ink.  I stamped the ornaments using the Farmhouse Christmas Stamp Set and the ornament strings using the Christmas Joy Stamp Set.
The sentiment uses one word (Christmas) from the Christmas Joy Stamp Set and one word (joy) from the Farmhouse Christmas Stamp Set which just goes to show how nicely each stamp set from Stamp Simply compliments the next.  The finishing touch on this card was a pretty bow tied with the LUX 1/4" Black Silk Ribbon.  You can feel the silk in this ribbon.....it's divine.  It holds some rusty jingle bells.
We'd love to have you stop by Stamp Simply to check out all the wonderful new stamps, dies and papers as well as to remember and enjoy all the older sets.  They're all SO wonderful, and they make card-making easy.  You'll also find loads of great inspiration each day on the Stamp Simply Blog.  Thanks so much for visiting me and have a great day.

I'm sharing my card in the following challenges:

Christmas Joy w/Stamp Simply

From all of us at Stamp Simply, we hope that you truly will be blessed with the joys of Christmas all year long.  We also hope that you'll visit us at Stamp Simply and the Stamp Simply Blog whenever you need some inspiration or some new stamps, dies and crafting products.  This sweet store is filled with the lovliest products to help you create amazing cards and projects all year long.
This card uses basic black cardstock, basic white cardstock, and a pretty patterned paper from The Craft Consortium's Tartan Plaid 6x6 Paper Pad.  I machine stitched my layers together to create the card base.  Next, I cut a circle from white cardstock using Spellbinders Amazing Grace Hemstitch Circle Dies and I used a star stencil to add some fun background color.
I used the pretty candle from the Christmas Peace Stamp Set to stamp my image, and I used the coordinating Christmas Peace Die to cut the candle.  I colored the image with my Copics (which are starting to dry out and I absolutely dread the thought of replacing them $$).  The sentiment I used can be found in the Farmhouse Christmas Stamp Set, and I cut it using the Fishtail Banner Dies.  A few sequins were the finishing touch.
Please visit us on the Stamp Simply Blog for more inspiration and to stay up-to-date on special sales and promotions including our Wild Wednesday Specials.  Thanks so much for stopping by to visit me here today.  I hope you're staying creative and that you're all ready for Christmas.
