NEW Release Card Duo w/Creative Worship

Hello to all my sweet blog friends who still stop by to say hello and take a quick peek at my cards.  I'm always SO grateful for you and your visits here.  Today I'm sharing a sweet card duo that I created for Creative Worship Stamps using some of this month's NEW Release and a few older products alongside them.  There are many super cool stamps, dies, stencils, inks and products at Creative Worship to help you create something beautiful.
Both of these cards start with black, white, and then light kraft cardstocks.  All the patterned papers, journalling cards, etc. that were used to create my card duo are from an older Echo Park line called Love My Family.  I cut the cardstocks and patterned papers using the Stitched Rectangle Dies.  On the blue card (below), I stamped all my sentiments using the Wordfetti Mash-Up Stamp Set.  I cut some hearts using the Hearts Die Set and more of the patterned papers.  I even stamped some of the little word phrases from Wordfetti Mash-Up Stamp Set onto a few of the hearts.
I enjoy all those FUN paper layers, and the tabs are really fun.  I also did just a bit of machine stitching.  The orange card also has a nice length of Natural Burlap String (SUPER DISCOUNT at just $0.60/10 (ten) yards at Really Reasonable Ribbon's Going Out of Business SALE) and I tied a long bow with it.  The postal images I stamped on my cards can be found in one of my favorite CW sets, Going Postal.
On the orange card (below) I stamped a sentiment using the NEW Goodness of God Stamp Set.  I also added several tabs to each card using the cool Tabs Tickets & More Dies.  Again, I stamped some of the small word phrases from Wordfetti Mash-Up Stamp Set onto a few of those tabs.  I've been trying to use up more of my older patterned papers.  I have WAY more than I'll ever be able to use in my lifetime.  But they're all so lovely that I can't bring myself to get rid of them all.  These cards were created for fun to use up some of those excess papers along with some FUN products from Creative Worship Stamps.
If you have too much patterned paper like I do, get it out this week.  Whip up a few cards using some of those old neglected patterned papers you have.  Creative Worship Stamps can help you find all the best sentiments, images, stamps, dies, stencils, oxide inks and sprays, and just about anything and everything you could dream of needing to create those cards.  I'm making a commitment to use up more of my stash, and I'm so blessed to know that Creative Worship will help me create beautiful cards with them.
Thank you again, blog friends, for taking the time to visit me here today.  I'm sharing these cards over on my Instagram Page as well, so feel free to stop by there to "Like" and to "Follow" if you kindly will.  I'd really appreciate it (if you haven't already).  I hope you're having a super blessed and creative week, my friends.

I'm playing along here and sharing my cards:

The Die Cuttin' Divas' Challenge - Die Cutting - Celebrate Spring w/Gina K Designs - As listed above, my cards include Stitched Rectangle Dies, Heart Dies and Tab Dies.

Blessings.

The Goodness of God w/Creative Worship

Are you ready for a FUN Instagram Hop, lots of great inspiration, a fabulous NEW Release and a chance to WIN a $25 gift card to Creative Worship Stamps?  Well, I hope so because we've got so much fun for everyone.  To take part in the IG Hop and for your chance to WIN, just head over to the Creative Worship IG Page to get started.  You can also find the link on My Instagram Page.  This card and bookmark set will combine several NEW products with some my older favorites.
It's always special to receive a Creative Worship hand-made card in the mail; but receiving a hand-made card along with a matching hand-made bookmark is a real bonus.  Creative Worship Stamps makes it so easy to create those matching bookmarks.  I simply cut the same cardstock using the FABULOUS Bookmarks & More Dies and designed it to match my card.  Super quick and easy, and it's such a nice and thoughtful little gift to send.
For the card, I used a cream cardstock that I used both as the base and to cut the inside using the Stitched Rectangle Dies.  I attached together those two pieces, and I stamped the top layer using the Typewriter Text Background Stamp.  Over that, I added Tumbled Glass and Spun Sugar Oxide Inks using the lovely new Damask Pattern Stencil.  It's SO pretty.  I used more of the cream cardstock and did the same thing to each piece that I cut using the FUN NEW Stitched Tags Dies.
The focal sentiment on the biggest tag was stamped using the NEW Goodness of God Stamp Set.  I also added accents from the Going Postal Stamp Set.  This is true of the card and the matching bookmark.  The pretty butterflies were cut using the NEW Delicate Butterflies Dies.  I also have a couple of small pieces of vintage music that I cut using the Tabs Ticket & More Dies.  One tab is tucked in underneath the butterfly and the other ticket is at the bottom right.  The butterfly (half butterfly) on my card is also backed using the vintage sheet music.
The sweet NEW Stitched Tags Dies are so much fun to use.  I used this awesome NEW set to cut the smaller tags you see on my card and on the bookmark.  These darling dies allow you to add a pop of color, do some journalling, or just add a touch pizzazz to your cards.  I'm finding so many ways to use them, and I know I'll be pulling them out a lot.  They're just so much FUN.
The matching bookmark was made the very same way as the card.  I used the NEW Stitched Tag Dies to cut and layer all the sweet little layers underneath my sentiment which is, again, from the NEW Goodness of God Stamp Set.  The bookmark is tied off with a tassle I made using Solid Pink Baker's Twine, which is now ON CLEARANCE for just FIFTY CENTS ($0.50) per TEN YARD length.  Don't miss the DEEP DISCOUNTS at Really Reasonable Ribbon during their Retirement/Going Out of Business Sale.
Thanks so much for stopping by my blog to take a peek at this card and bookmark duo, and please don't forget to check out the Creative Worship IG Hop.  I'd love to have you Follow Me there, too please.  I've been stuck at the same place for so long, and I don't know what else to do to help my IG Following grow.  In the meantime, I'll keep on crafting and sharing.  I appreciate you for visiting me and for your support, comments and friendships.  Happy crafting, everyone.

I'm sharing my card in these fun challenges:

Stencil Fun Challenge Blog - March: Anything Goes/Optional Vines - I used a cool new Damask Pattern Stencil from Creative Worship Stamps on this card and bookmark duo.

Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge - Simon Says "Make Your Own Background" and I made my background by stencilling, stamping and inking.

Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge - Simon Says "Make it Cute" - I hope this card and bookmark duo is cute.

Double D Challenges - Book, Bookmarks, Postage, Etc. - Lately, I've really been enjoying making a matching bookmark for the cards I create.  I like to tuck them inside the card I'm giving.  What a FUN idea.
Happy crafting!!

Blessings,
Karen
