Happy Easter w/Creative Worship Stamps

It's hard to believe that Easter is almost here.  The temps here in the desert are rising, and we've already had to use the air conditioning a few times.  My parents in Minnesota, however, are still getting snow storms.  So, is it really Spring?  I guess it all depends on where you're located.  Nonetheless, Easter is soon upon us and I'm ready for it.  Creative Worship Stamps always has the perfect stamps and products to help me create something special.  This month's NEW Release is, once again, absolutely wonderful.  Today begins the Creative Worship NEW Release March Instagram Hop where you can WIN a $25 gift card to spend at Creative Worship Stamps.  And we all know that they have the BEST and coolest stamps out there.  What a FAB prize.  Just head over the Instagram to get started.
This card started with basic ivory cardstock that I layered with some pretty patterned papers from an older Carta Bella line called Spring Market.  I used the Stitched Rectangle Dies to cut the largest rectangle (the floral print) and then I cut two tags using the NEW Stitched Tag Dies.  I stencilled the two tags using the lovely NEW Damask Pattern Stencil.  The colors of Tim Holtz Oxide Ink that I used to stencil were the Spun Sugar and Peeled Paint.  I absolutely love this soft sweet damask pattern.
Next, I used the lovely NEW Goodness of God Stamp Set for the sentiment.  The circular tag is surrounded by a wreath that was cut using the Lovely Wreaths Dies.  Over the stencilling, I stamped a postal image using the awesome Going Postal Stamp Set.  I also used this same stamp set at the bottom of my card.  The small tabs that I added to the right and left of my center image were cut using the Tabs Tickets & More Dies, and I stamped the words Happy Easter on the left tab using the Wordfetti Mashup Stamp Set.  This sweet little stamp set covers almost every occasion you could ever think of needing.
The finishing touch on my card was a pretty bow tied with Forst Green/Cream Gingham Ribbon.  As I mentioned, this month's new release is FAB; but I also want to mention the literal hundreds of amazing stamps, dies, stencils, inks and all the amazing products you'll find at Creative Worship Stamps.  Be sure to stop by and check out ALL that awaits you.  There's also loads of great inspiration on the Creative Worship Stamps IG Page.  Thanks SO much for visiting me here today.  I'm always so super grateful to have you stop by to say hello.  And don't forget about the Instagram Hop and the $25 prize.

I'm playing along in the following:

Let's Get Cozy w/Creative Worship Stamps

This month at Creative Worship Stamps, we're showcasing and featuring many of the FUN and FAB stamps, dies and other products that are "Reading Related".  In an effort to encourage us to read more, we all wanted to create some cards, bookmarks, journal pages, etc. to showcase these amazing products and to pair them with other Creative Worship products such as Stencils, Inks and Sprays.  As part of this month's Creative Worship Instagram Hop, I'm sharing my first two projects of the month....this card and bookmark duo.
My card starts with black cardstock layered with white cardstock that I stencilling using Spun Sugar Oxide Ink and the gorgeous Star Pattern Stencil.  I also stamped the background with the super cool Typewriter Text Background Stamp.  I also used the Peace Joy Love Stencil to add the words BE STILL at the bottom of my card.
I used the adorable Let's Get Cozy Stamp Set for the sentiments, chair, blankets, lamp, coffee, etc. and the coordinating Let's Get Cozy Dies to cut them.  There's also a small piece of tulle behind my couch.  Why?  I'm not sure.  Like I tend to do a lot, I knew that I wanted to make a matching bookmark for this card; especially since we're celebrating the art of Reading.
I used the Bookmarks & More Dies to cut my bookmark.  I used the Star Pattern Stencil and Typewriter Text Background Stamp again on the background of my bookmark.  The sentiment, light and stack of books are also found in the Let's Get Cozy Stamp Set and were cut using the coordinating Let's Get Cozy Dies.  Some tulle at the top of my bookmark will stick out the top of your book....how fun.
Be sure to hop on over to the Creative Worship Instagram Hop for lots of great Reading-Related inspiration and a chance to WIN a $25 gift card to spend at Creative Worship.  We'd love to have you join the fun and....who knows, you might just find some fabulous new products for yourself at Creative Worship.  Have a wonderfully creative week.

I'm playing along here:

A Cut Above Challenge Blog - February: Anything Goes Using Dies - All the dies I used on my card and bookmark are listed and linked above.

The Paper Funday Challenges - February: Anything Goes/Optional Pastels - I did use the Optional Pastel Twist along with lots of fabulous paper layers.

Autumn w/Creative Worship Stamps

As I may have mentioned earlier this month, there's not a new release this month at Creative Worship Stamps.  There is, however, one awesome NEW stamp set called Have Courage.  It's got several awesome and encouraging sentiments.  You can find it HERE at Creative Worship.  Anyway, rather than showcasing a new release, we're celebrating the Four Seasons we enjoy every year.  The first week, we focused on Spring.  The second week was showcasing Summer cards.  Our Instagram Hop (still open) showcased a few for each season.  Hop on over to Creative Worship Instagram to hop along for your chance to WIN a $25 credit to Creative Worship Stamps.  WOO HOO!
This card started with a green corrugated cardboard base layered with a cream cardstock that was cut using the fabulous Stitched Rectangle Dies.  I absolutely LOVE this die set and I use it ALL the time.  I stamped the entire cream background using the FUN Typewritten Text Background Stamp.  This stamp is great for creating a fun messy background.  The next step was to stencil the background using the Fall Leaves Stencil.
I layered more cream cardstock by cutting extra pieces of cream cardstock using, once again, the FUN Stitched Rectangle Dies, which I already told you I use a lot.  (like..... A LOT)  I stamped, painted and hand-cut the beautiful leaves and splattered them with a bit of white acrylic paint.  The sweet Fall sentiment is also found in the Autumn Splendor Stamp Set.  I think that covers all the products I used, but feel free to ask if you have any questions.
Don't forget to check out Creative Worship Stamps to see all the wonderful products that are waiting for you.  There's always something at Creative Worship Stamps to help your creativity run wild.  Stop by Creative Worship Stamps today to look around.  And don't forget about the Creative Worship Instagram Hop taking place now.  Thanks so much for visiting me here today.

Blessings,
Karen

I'm playing along here:

Stencil Fun Challenge Blog - August: Anything Goes w/Stencils - Optional: Leaves - I used the Fall Leaves Stencil from Creative Worship Stamps.

Paper Funday Challenges - August: Anything Goes w/paper layers - Optional: Four-Legged Friends.  I used the Anything Goes option.

Sweet Holiday Wishes

Welcome back to my little slice of blogland here, friends.  It's always a treat to have you stop by to take a peek at my art and to say hello.  I'm so glad you're here and I look forward to hearing what you think about the card I'm sharing today.  It was a lot of FUN to make, but then again, working with Creative Worship Stamps is always awesome fun.  Today is also the first day of the Creative Worship Stamps August Instagram Hop where one lucky person will WIN a $25 gift certificate to spend at Creative Worship Stamps.
I used black cardstock for my base, and I cut it using the awesome Stitched Rectangle Dies.  This wonderful die set creates a wonderful card base.  I used the Stitched Rectangle Dies again for the next two layers.  Then I stamped the cute wish list using the sweet Christmas Wish List Stamp.  All the "wishes" that I stamped onto the wish list were stamped in green inks using the Worshipful Wordfetti Stamp Set.  All the things listed here are things I truly do wish for in my life.
I ran a length of vintage lace across the bottom of my card.  I also stamped the sentiment, coffee cups and darling candy canes using the Holiday Cheer Clear Stamp Set.  I tucked some bundled Iridescent String under the sentiment for added texture.  It's fun combining stamp sets, and at Creative Worship there are SO many great choices.
As we share inspirational cards this month featuring the Four Seasons, we hope that you'll see just how ALL the wonderful products from Creative Worship Stamps allow your creativity to soar.  Treat yourself to a new stencil, stamp set, and some exciting new things this month.  Go ahead, you deserve it.

I'm sharing my card and linking it up in the following challenges:

Caffeinated Christmas Card Challenge - Challenge #44 - I'm joining the Coffee Loving Papercrafters.  For this challenge, we're asked to share a Christmas themed card with a caffeinated element.  Yes, please!  While this challenge is being sponsored (via the Hostess, Jennifer) the wonderful Newton's Nook.  I didn't use any of their sweet products on my card because I don't own a lot of it.  I have to work with what I've got.  (lol)  I used products from Creative Worship Stamps.

Krafty Chicks Challenges:  Challenge #781 - Christmas - My card uses lots of fun products from Creative Worship Stamps.

TIME OUT Challenges - Challenge #295 - Photo Inspiration - I was drawn to the COFFEE image.  While I didn't go with the Summer vibes in the photo, I switched it up and made it a Christmas card; but I can't resist the coffee.
Blessings,
Karen

Instagram Halloween Hop w/Whimsy

Please HOP on over to my Instagram Page to get started on this FUN Halloween Hop with Whimsy Stamps.  While I'm super glad you're here to visit me today, even leaving me a comment here on my blog will not make you eligible for the fabulous prizes being offered by Whimsy Stamps.  The rest of Design Team is far more talented than I am when it comes to being spooky.  I've admitted right up front that I'm too "cute" and just not scary.  It's not really my thing.
But Whimsy Stamps does have several cute Halloween stamps that I've sure had fun using.  Again, I know I'm not all that scary, but I still had a lot of fun creating this Halloween card.  In the background of my photo, you can see the adorable Creepy Crawler Confetti Mix I used.  Whimsy Stamps has lots of cool Confetti Mixes.  These awesome prizes are SO worth it, right?  Head on over to hop with us.
I used white cardstock and purple gingham patterned paper from the Mix & Match 1 6x6 Paper Pad. I rubbed the paper with Concord Grape Oxide Ink and stamped the spider webs and spiders using the Halloween Postage Stamp Set.  I did the same thing for the matching tag. I added Black Seam Binding and some Purple Baker's Twines to my card and tag.
The cute (no, I mean spooky) frame is from the Mix & Match Scalloped Rectangle Dies.  And finally, that super SPOOKY sentiment is found in the Home Sweet Haunted Home Stamp Set.  It's awesome being able to combine different stamp sets together.  Aren't all those little spider webs just SO cute?
Don't forget......you must stop by my Instagram Page to take part in this awesome hop.  Just follow the links like you would on a blog.  OH, and while you're there, PLEASE be sure to Follow me on my Instagram Page.  I need all the help I can get, friends.  I appreciate you all SO much.  Thanks for visiting me, and I hope to see you over on Instagram.

I'm sharing my Whimsy card here:
