The Light of the World w/Creative Worship Stamps

There are many beautiful Bible verses that refer to God as "the light".  In 1 John 1:5, we read that "God is the light, and in Him is no darkness at all" and we read in Psalm 27:1 that "The Lord is my light and my salvation...", and in 2 Samuel 22:9 we read that "You are my lamp, oh Lord, and my God lightens in darkness".  I could keep going with verses that mention God as "light".  In my personal experience, God is always my greatest source of light when I'm walking through the dark valleys that brings our way from time to time.   Being on the Design Team at Creative Worship Stamps is such a huge blessing because I get to create cards with their beautiful Christ-centered products.  You're sure to LOVE💖all the stamps, dies, stencils, inks and everything you find there.

This month's NEW Release at Creative Worship Stamps has several amazing products.  One of those awesome new sets includes the Lantern Light Stamp Set and coordinating Lantern Light Dies.  I used them along with the NEW Vintage Snippets Stamp Set to create this lovely Christmas card.  The sentiment I used from the NEW Lantern Light Stamp Set includes several awesome sentiments that refer to light and God being our light.  The one I used is John 1:5 which says, "The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it".  There's also a coordinating Lantern Light Die Set that includes dies for each of the sentiments.

I used Spun Sugar Oxide Ink and the FUN NEW Star Pattern Stencil to create my background.  Next, I used Lost Shadow Oxide Ink and the NEW Vintage Snippets Stamp Set to lightly stamp cool vintage images on my background.  I stamped all the lantern, candle, etc. images and colored them with Copics.  Then I attached them to my card base using 3-D Foam Tabs.  My finishing touches included some pretty Silk Ribbons and an Ivory Open Rose.

Merry Christmas

How are your Christmas cards coming along?  If you're like me, you may be just a bit behind in this area.  Let me tell you about the DARLING New Release at Creative Worship Stamps this month.  It is SO amazing.  You'll find sweet new stamps, dies and stencils to help you create the sweetest Christmas cards.  In fact, Creative Worship has stamps, dies, stencils, Tim Holtz Ink Pads, and SO many fabulous products for Christmas and all year round.  They really are the sweetest!!

I'm SO in love💖with EVERYTHING in this month's NEW Release at Creative Worship Stamps.  Well, let's be honest.....I love everything at Creative Worship Stamps.  Every month, I'm completely blown away by the amazing inspiration cards my talented Design Team Members share.  They are able to showcase the New Release every month and show creative ways to use all the FAB products found at Creative Worship Stamps.  I hope that my card(s) inspire someone as well.

This card uses various cardstocks for the base.  The top layer is simple white cardstock that I rubbed with Salvaged Patina Oxide Ink using the FAB NEW Stencil.  Isn't this stencil design COOL?  It's brand new, and I have no doubt it will sell out quickly.  The same is true of this fabulous release.  It won't last long.  If you see something you love, grab it quickly before they're all gone.  I've made that mistake too many times.  Some of the panels were cut using the Stitched Rectangle Dies.  I ran my card through the sewing machine to add a stitched border.  Once I finished that background, I moved on to the images.

I used the lovely NEW Lantern Light Stamp Set to stamp the lantern, candle, bow and greenery.  I hand painted some of the pieces, and I used my Copics on some parts.  Once everything was colored, I used the coordinating Lantern Light Dies to cut out each image.  I placed the pieces onto 3-D Foam Tabs to raise the lantern and candle, etc.  I used a scrap of my stencilled paper to stamp my sentiment.  This sweet sentiment (one of five) can be found in the new Lantern Light Stamp Set.  I cut the sentiment out using the Lantern Light Dies.  I rubbed Vintage Photo Oxide Ink onto white paper and stamped the ruler image using the cool NEW Vintage Snippets Stamp Set to place underneath the sentiment to help it stand out more.

The final image I shared above is a matching Christmas gift tag that I created from my scraps.  I did use the sweet NEW Vintage Snippets Stamp Set on the brown base of the tag.  Please let me know if you have any questions at all.  I'm always happy to help you find what you're looking for; and chances are good that Creative Worship Stamps will have exactly what you need.  Thanks so much for visiting me here today.  I'm always super grateful to have you stop by and say hello.
