Paper Sweeties New Release Rewind

Welcome back by my blog today, everyone.  It's always a blessing to me when you visit and possibly even leave me a comment.  It makes me SO happy...you just don't even know.  Today my Paper Sweeties teammates and I are winding up the New Release that just became available for purchase yesterday.  The new Summer Vibes Stamp Set has so many great sentiments for Summer and far beyond.  The card I'm sharing today is the easiest card to make.  In fact, anyone can create this card.  I promise this, and I'll explain myself.

To create your card base, you will simply use some blue cardstocks that you'll cut into the size card you desire to create.  I literally used some scraps of blue cardstocks that I found in my cardstock bin.  I ran a length of Seam Binding across my card and tied a pretty bow with it.  I used a piece of basic white cardstock (again, I used a scrap laying on my craft table) and I used a sponge to rub on a bit of (Stormy Blue and Brick Red) Tim Holtz Oxide Inks.  I splatter the wet ink with a bit of water.  You know...like "flick it".  Let it dry.  Stamp the sentiment (God Bless America) using the new Summer Vibes Stamp Set.

The last thing I did to create this card is to place the adorable little Doodlebug Doodle Pop Stickers here and there.  How adorable are they?  There are lots of cute Doodlebug Stickers at Paper Sweeties that work well with the new Summer Vibes Stamp Set.  They sure do make it quick and easy to whip up a cute card.  AND....they're only about $2 per set.  ADORBS.  Here are the links to my teammates' inspirational posts for today.

It's Paper Sweeties New Release Day

It's New Release Day at Paper Sweeties, and that means you can now purchase the Summer Vibes Stamp Set.  This darling set contains several adorable sentiments including the one I used today (Treat Yourself).  It's filled with darling sentiments that you can use alone, or when combined with other Paper Sweeties products.

How much FUN are Doodlebug products?  SO cute, right?  Well, this card uses some FUN Doodlebug Patterned Papers, Doodlebug Washi Tape, and of course, the new Summer Vibes Stamp Set.  I even created a matching envelope using some of these same products along with the darling images from last month's new Gnome Add-Ons: Summer.  I cut the focal spot using the Scalloped Oval Frames Die.
